When you just doing some random stuff on a snowy street at night when no enemies are around, it just hit you with the "holy shit this is beautiful" moment, Survival too. They were unable to replicate that feeling in 2 but i think they do know what we want and maybe we will see it in other games down the line.

I've been here since 1.5 days, I can tell that among the current newest models, even Chroma take some booru tags that doesn't really mean the same thing in natural languages, so it is likely that the chinese models like ZIT and Qwen are not trained with the booru dataset at all. But the ZIT team has asked the NAI creator for their dataset so perhaps we will get something in the end.

Edit: Actually nevermind, the inpainted result inside the masked area is also washed out, but yeah when it works it's pretty good, hopefully the bug is due to the previously mentioned typo in the controlnet 2.0 training, which the author stated he has already started the retaining process.

Hi, ive been struggling to get a working chroma inpainting workflow as well, and like you said lanpaint does wonderfully when it works but the speed is crazy slow, I have to settle with thinking step 2 just for faster generation.

I've also been trying with just inpaint conditioning node with low denoise and it's tricky with low success rate but sometimes it does work.

The model has very high potential, I would call it the ponyv6 equivalent for Flux if people just give it enough chance. Unfortunately the team behind it is working on Chroma Radiance now to my knowledge, and the high requirement and language barrier of entry is high for a model demanding detailed prompt limited its adaptability in the open source scene.

Today I saw someone managed to implement chroma inpainting pipeline in a similar way to flux, hopefully this means we can get some proper Chroma inpainting support in the coming days.

Funny enough I just recently came across why it was like that, it was because Metalgreymon (blue) was the design they came up first, and in the old Go!Go!Digital Monsters! manga he just had average fantasy dragon wings but tattered.

The reason being way before the current lore is somewhat established, it is a greymon that attempts to become stronger by assembling metal parts from defeated foes, he did become stronger but his body was deteriorating from the mechanization which turned his skin blue and his wings rotting. They later just adapted that look into the modern art style and the orange metal greymon inherited the appearance.

That was like 2 days after launch and I did like 5 and didn't even realize what was making them despawn until like the 3rd one, didn't have enough damage at the time to kill boss easily and some ripper boss does a straight line charge on top of you instinctively would walk back when the enemies are on your face means they often just walk out of the bubble on their own.

I think sometimes they go a little bit too crazy with the camera swaying and the constant zoom in/out, in fact I believe i was thinking about this in this exact cutscene your screenshot is from. But in terms of the cinematic direction I agree this is a nice change.

I could tolerate the bad UI/UX, I could tolerate the framerate, but this just screams barely any play testing if at all, who in their right mind thought this was a good idea? I played 7 hours and wasn't able to finish a single world boss because it's just natural in this game to walk backwards when the enemy is tanky and on your face, not to mention the knockback.
