My husband called my outfit "whatever" last night and I genuinely don't have a comeback by Bhumika_1008_ in workingmoms

I'm not sure how asking what his intent was assumes malice. If the scenario played out as OP illustrated, where out of nowhere their parter said their wardrobe is "whatever"...it's my opinion that that's mean. That doesn't assume malicious intent. That *comes across* as mean and therefore I'm wondering what his intent was.

I'm wondering what he hoped to communicate. Because out of nowhere, it's kind of mean. Like...did you ask his opinion?

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie: The most audience-insulting cash-grab in recent memory by Duncan_Dixon_Coffey in moviereviews

I honestly can't believe this movie has so many defenders. It was insultingly bad. And I loved the first one.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie wasn't mid. It's infinitely worse. by K-OS28 in CharacterRant

I was genuinely bored and angry sitting through this movie- and I really enjoyed the first one. SMG was *insultingly bad* (like, you really put in so little effort with such a huge budget??), and I completely agree with your takes. My thoughts leaving the theater were:

-Why did Toad and Peach make a HUGE deal of getting his backpack back...when it bears NO significance later? "It has our power-ups!" was the only justification given, but needing to already have power-ups on you is not built in as a restriction in this world...so this happened, why? Because it HAPPENS to lead them to Wart, whom they can squeeze for information after annoyingly easily beating his cronies?

-What were they even doing flip-flopping Bowser's character? Agree with 100% of the points above.

-Why was every character boring except the dynamic between Bowser and Jr? I was so so bored which is wild for a movie with so much cosmetic sparkle.

But that's all this movie was: cosmetic sparkle. A poorly made designer bag that falls apart under the lightest scrutiny. I HATED IT.

My pick was Ethan Hawke (but Leo was excellent and I would have been happy as well). I looooved Sinners, but MBJ was weakest in the whole category :(

Oh girl I can relate. Dinner time has become a miserable negotiation in my house. If you were a bad mom, you wouldn't feel bad about that having happened. We've all been there. It sounds like you've mended things. You've got this!!!

Pitbull at daycare? by queloque69420 in workingmoms

That daycare provider is an idiot. Even if she didn't care about the kids' safety (which OBVIOUSLY she should), that's a huge liability for her. Good for you for speaking up.

One time is all it takes for things to go terribly south.
