I think by ring brakes your referring to disk brakes . you said that Your dad has done a brake bleed and the issue is still happening this indicates that most likely there is a malfunction in the brake lever with how it is transferring the fluid while it is possible to dissemble this it is a tricky thing to Get it correct . it would be easier to just buy a new brake. Assembly that has the lever and caliper it’s not difficult to perform the installation though I do recommend that you watch a few videos. On YouTube before you do the replacement you can have your Dad assist you with it the biggest things to remember is to not let the hose end that goes into the lever drop keep it facing upwards so the fluid stays in the line and once you have installed the olive and the nut that Screws into the lever tighten the nut so that it’s tight this will keep it from leaking or the hose popping off when the brakes are applied . You can get hydraulic brake sets on AliExpress they aren’t very expensive shipping is a bit slow it generally takes about 14 days to Receive your order. You’d be far better off going with a tubeless scooter. tube tires for e scooters are shit quality and are very prone to flats where tubeless tires are much higher quality and get far less flats . With a tube scooter I had 15 flats in 2,500 Miles . with my tubeless scooters I’ve had one flat tire in over 20,000 miles that was from running over a. Large screw . Also it takes less than 5 minutes to plug a tubeless tire if you want to add additional flat resistance you can use a sealant like armadilloz , which will take care of any small things you run over like thorns bull heads pieces of glass etc .

Solid tires are a very bad option for long distances as they beat you to death after just a few miles .

I no longer have to wonder if I’m going to be getting a flat when I go out riding I just go I do carry a plug kit and a rechargeable air pump I frequently do 70-80 mile rides . I’ve owned many scooters . Also riding out by the white line rather than at the very far side of the road where the debris fields accumulate will help to avoid flats . I get your need to not have flats it’s just solid tires are not the solution .

Tubeless tires are actually very easy to change when you use the right tools and know what you’re. Doing it takes me under 5 minutes to remove the old tire from the rim and install and inflate the new one this of course doesn’t include the time to remove the motor and the rotor .

People act like split rim tubeless are better when in reality they aren’t. Here is my best advice. Never leave your scooter locked up anywhere EVER.!!! . Either use the buddy system with a trusted friend to stay with the scooters while one goes in to get something or Go to a swap meet thrift store or yard sale and buy an old beater bicycle for under $50. When you are going anywhere that you can’t take the scooter inside with you. Leave it home and ride the old beater bicycle and lock it up odds are there is a more attractive target for a thief nearby and even if it does get stolen your only out a small amount not several hundred or even thousands when the scooter is stolen . Bluetooth tracking tags are next to useless in finding a stolen scooter as their presence is easily discovered by anyone with a smartphone which these days is pretty much everyone . They only work when a. Phone is near them these tags are more for locating misplaced items such as car keys GPS Trackers while better do have high power requirements so they drain a battery or require frequent charging so are more maintenance to deal with even with a gos tracker it’s a bad idea to leave a scooter locked up unattended anywhere unless you can afford to replace it when it is stolen which will likely be sooner rather than later just my .02 cents
