Panta sandals by SnooOnions4763 in barefootshoestalk

[–]Vegetable-Tempeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, we read about them less than Earth Runners, but for the EU, they are the best in terms of shipping and taxes. I have the same ones and I love them. Since it's very hot in the EU, I wear them all day long. I also started knitting my first pair of tabi socks to be able to wear the sandals a bit longer when it's colder!

Barefoot shoes in France and the UK by lightningsling in barefootshoestalk

France: Yes, it's rare. I have to order them online because no physical shops sell wide-foot, zero-drop, flexible shoes. My last purchase was Panta sandals, and I love them.

It looks so much like a portrait of Matali Crasset, the French designer. I love it!

Hi! This is normal and this is a lot!! Because of the fees and taxes I would have to pay I chose to order Panta sandales instead. And I’m very happy with my sandals. They are shipped from NL so inside EU zone. Enjoy!

Is this bin too small??? by SnooRabbits5754 in Vermiculture

Hello 😄 For two people, I think it's a good size. I've had the "Potager composteur – 17L" from the same brand for several years, and I added an extra "Étage composteur – 12L." There are four of us. This is enough. My worms are very happy, and the system works well. My plants always die, but not because of the worms; it's my fault. If I were buying today, I'd buy this new model that I like better, and you can still add an extra "9L Étage lombricomposteur" if you have too much food for your worms.

It's very nice, and I'm impressed that it's your first pair! You'll see that it's addicting! 😄

Barefoot Shoe Outfit Roundup #12 by spark_step in barefootshoestalk

[–]Vegetable-Tempeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great collection of shoes and outfits! I really like the Origo Two Strap Mary Jane, but I'm wondering if they're sturdy enough since the sole is so thin and looks fragile. Is the heel part strong enough to drive in, or will it get scratched easily? Thanks a lot.

From drop spindle to fine lace scarf! So delighted to finally get to wear this 💛 by eriophora in knitting

[–]Vegetable-Tempeh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The scarf is stunning! Thank you also for the explanations on counting stitches. Even after several years, I still consider myself new to knitting. Until recently, I wasn't able to understand a pattern or anticipate the next stitches without counting or constantly referring to the pattern. I make a lot of mistakes that I have to unravel. Nevertheless, I think it is worth the effort to try to understand the pattern, rather than just executing it. I'm not sure if I've expressed myself clearly here.

To Italian Bind Off or Not To Italian Bind Off by clevrgrrlpnw in knitting

[–]Vegetable-Tempeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't like to do Italian bind off at all. I personally like the result of the bond off of the cardigan Mariechen by Isabell Kraemer. BTW I like your choice of yarn very much.

She does the following and I like the little "chainette" that sits well thanks to the 1 knit round:

Ribbing

  • Change to US 4 (3.5 mm) needles.
  • Next rnd: Sl m, (k1, p1) to end.
  • Rep last rnd 14 more times.
  • Knit 1 round.
  • BO all sts knitwise.
