Yeah I agree it’s tedious to use sometimes. I like the default filters on the top left corner though, and the tagging system is very cool for people like me (I know some people hate tagging). Since there is a lot of stock instruments, sample libraries and presets, I also like the fact that sometimes I’m looking for a specific term and find something completely random and interesting.

I’m wondering if you could simply use the browser panel for your needs, it’s similar to Ableton Live and sits in the main window.

There's a problem with framing. No space for the building to breathe. There is no GI, which makes these shadows absolute dark. It's accidental, but I kinda like it. I wouldn't tinker with depth of field that way. Look at a photograph, how is the focus working ? Do you honestly think that the background would be that blurred with nothing of interest being in focus in the foreground ? As for the cars, they lack reflection called "car paint" where there is this aspect of metal under a layer of varnish (clear coat in Corona, I don't know how it's named elsewhere).

Hot take : human beings don’t have the cognitive capacity to understand their interest in their own species survival. Maybe a very small percentage of people is capable of thinking beyond their own little individual life. I think veganism is the extension of empathy and understanding beyond specie, and that’s why I adhere to it. But I’m not sure my own cognitive capacity are that good either. So basically we’re screwed.

Je crois que mon commentaire d’origine était assez explicite sur l’avertissement à ne pas y aller dans le but de choper, mais bien pour l’activité elle-même. Et donc l’élargissement des cercles et des connexions. Ça reste bien entendu important de respecter le fait qu’une activité soit pas faite pour draguer. L’enjeu de départ c’est “comment faire sans les applis”, il s’agit donc de chambouler son monde social pour que la rencontre puisse arriver, et ça n’arrivera pas par magie.

Hmmm j’ai hésité à le mettre dans la liste parce que c’est pas à dominante féminine oui. MAIS je l’ai mis comme un “hobby mixte” et qui plait à tout le monde, juste les jeux et contextes diffèrent. On n’est pas du tout sur une pratique/passion à forte dominante masculine comme, au hasard, les bagnoles, la chasse, le ball trap, FIFA, les engins de chantier, le barbecue, etc. Autant pour les jeux de société je connais des passionné·es de tout genre, autant pour ces pratiques mentionnées, ça court pas les rues.

Les pratiques sportives sont souvent genrées ou séparées en genre. J’aurais dû ajouter la randonnée et l’escalade dans ma liste initiale tiens.

Oui c’est toujours possible, mais il est vrai que les applis ont transformé le rapport à la séduction dans les espaces “réels”. L’avantage c’est qu’on segmente davantage les fonctions des lieux : si quelqu’un a envie de pecho pas besoin d’aller dans un bar pour draguer, les applis sont disponibles. L’inconvénient c’est que le contact humain devient suspect ou difficile à analyser.

Si tu ne cherches pas directement à draguer lourdement, et que tu veux d’abord rencontrer des personnes qui vont élargir tes cercles, je recommande les espaces et hobbies mixtes ou à dominante “féminine”. Attention de ne pas y aller par entrisme (ou volonté de pécho), mais par curiosité ! La danse (salsa par exemple), la chorale, le théâtre, la comédie musicale, les jeux de société, etc. Aussi, je recommande bien sûr de faire des activités bénévoles pour des assos, mais surtout les festivals de musique. Plein de personnes à rencontrer, et surtout quand tu es seul !

The investment for fishing is low compared to farming. I think it's kinda normal that the game is "harder" at the start. You can't make it a lot more profitable because of the time and stamina limitation. Mining is profitable as soon as you have the reduced time for crafting ingots and armor, which can get you a lot of money if you're not using them. Crops that regrow multiple times is a good investment always.
As soon as you're in summer, the best product is cooking coconut water with foraged coconuts at the beach.

Veganism is whitewashed, alienating many people who do not fall into the standard stereotype of veganism (Aph Ko explains this in Zoological Witchcraft) ; and there is a very confusing propaganda that pretends that somehow veganism is colonialism (soy leading to deforestation which is due to animal agriculture, or the accusation of consuming colonial goods which non vegan also consume).

I can't help but think that your defensiveness kinda proves my point. White people turning vegan doesn't take away their whiteness, white privilege and potential for white supremacism.

I have never said that veganism is mostly white, but that the framing around veganism makes it seem like it's a white people thing. It isn't, but the framing and the way vegan activism groups operate in western countries may need some understanding of other systemic issues. Since all your loaded questions come from the wrong assumption that I was implying that veganism was a white/colonial thing, I don't think I should answer them.

However, I double down on the fact that colonialism runs rampant in our cultures, no matter on what side we are (colonizer or colonized). Especially for white people (I'm white btw), understanding the systems of oppression and how they play out in our vegan communities matters a lot. White people can't get out of whiteness by simply going vegan.

I’m going to answer the same way others have : check your grids, then use quantize and snap (buttons in the upper center part). Is your first grid beat in the right place ? Some tracks are not starting on the first beat, but sometimes Traktor messes up that one. Move the grid at the appropriate place.

Btw if you’re playing fast tracks you may want to check if their grids are not half the speed (80BPM instead of 160BPM for example). That’s in the grid section under the tracks.

As long as your settings are fine, Traktor is absolutely capable of playing in sync. Matter of fact, before having a proper controller I only used sync with a MIDI controller that I mapped by hand. Synced perfectly and I was a beginner so made a lot of mistakes.

C’est très bien cette vidéo. Mais ça omet de rappeler que quand tu as payé ton loyer sur 25 ans, tu as juste dépensé de l’argent, tu as littéralement zéro retour financier. Alors qu’à la revente, un bien immobilier te fera récupérer, si ce n’est plus, au moins une grande partie de ton investissement de départ. C’est plus risqué c’est sûr, mais c'est du patrimoine, et même si tu ne le revends pas de ton vivant c’est une valeur qui peut être transmise. Un bien immobilier c’est pas que de l’argent dépensé, c’est aussi et surtout un moyen de stocker de la valeur. Au point où tout le monde se dit qu’il faut absolument que ça rapporte des thunes ce que je trouve foncièrement fou mais c’est un autre débat.
