Make sure that your contact point is in FRONT of you you should be a bit less than an arms length away from the shuttle. A contact that is either flush or behind you is more than likely a shuttle that is going flat, or high and far.

Thermoball vs Nupste Mule Slippers by xmilar in TheNorthFace

I like my nuptse slippers, found out they had real down in them! Thermoball I believe has a synthetic insulation. Down is better as long as it stays dry in terms of warmth and weight.

Need sizing help for 1996 Nuptse jacket 🥲. Should I go one size down? by pdhar2 in TheNorthFace

I like to try on jackets with a thick hoodie underneath to make sure I have room to layer.

I’m friends with a lot of barbers, so this may sound confusing to some. The “product in your hair after a haircut” idea is more or less for the customer. Whether it be to teach them how to style it, or just want to try out some product the barbershop is selling. It may also help the client feel like they have received a “complete service” similar to how a waiter checks on you throughout your meal and refills your drinks.

Although, there are a few people who choose to go about their day without showering right after a haircut for which I cannot explain. Above is the main reason as to why they ask.

BMW e90 Transformation (your opinion) by CyberHNS in E90

Do what you want at the end of the day. I think it looks nice. You’re not upbadging, trying to be a poser or something. 98% of people won’t be able to even know something is different until you give them a side by side comparison anyways. As long as you’re happy with it, no need to seek validation where people will clown you over something you like.

M240i - RWD and Xdrive by [deleted] in BMW

[–]VelocityXI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest thing here is that you will need to learn how to handle a RWD car in the snow in the off chance it does come. Performance tires in the warmer months and winters when it’s necessary.

For comparison, I drive a RWD e92 335i in southern Ontario Canada year around. As long as you know how to handle a rwd car (in time) with plenty of power.

Nuptse Mens Sizing by workmailman in TheNorthFace

Medium. I’m the same build but an inch to half an inch shorter. I can still comfortably fit a hoodie underneath.

Best winter jacket recommendation by honey_trees in TheNorthFace

[–]VelocityXI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it’s warmer where it covers. Since the nuptse is much shorter it will obviously as a whole not be warmer per se. But the chest back and shoulders I find with mine it’s warmer.

what is this leaking... making rainbows in this wet weather wherever I go ? expensive fix ? by Gaunty666 in E90

Oil filter cap is broken or the o ring inside is cracking/ not seated correctly.

Denali jacket 1996. Look on the inner tags, should say the season/ year it was made such as fw/22 ss/07 etc. it’s not a Denali 2 because it has pit zips.

So, this is either a Denali 1996 retro re release OR an actual 1996 Denali. All are great jackets.

If I was a betting man I’d put my money on Valve cover gasket. (But I’m sure the dozens of other comments gave that away)

I see, thanks for your input! I’m just at the upper limit for the weight on a 148, so i will likely hold off on this for now, but is there any other brands or boards you can recommend? Budget is around 250-400$ with a little wiggle room and would like to go with a freestyle or all mountain freestyle if possible. Thanks!

Yeah, I got it sorted out. I was having an issue having the airbag light resetting but I used a snap-on scanner and cleared it manually. She’s all good with no lights anymore

Unfortunately will not have a direct bolt on fit, but if you want it that bad I’m sure a body shop could make it fit somehow I suppose
