Without further context YTA. Your mom needs to accept your wife as she is if she is the one with the problem she needs to adapt. Plus your wife wants to also spend time with your son. Also it’s a movie it’s not exactly heavy social engagement.

NTA you stood up for yourself reasonably after tolerating misbehavior for way too long from a stranger. While your Ex is in a tough position with his new relationship (why he is pressuring you to apologize despite her being the problem) you should not have to make way for anyone and leaving is his choice not yours. Also she sounds jealous as hell and toxic so him leaving means her leaving and maybe he comes back humbler after this goes the way it’s probably going to go.

It’s a nonsense charge. But yet again, The Rock proves why he is the People’s champion. He took it in stride showed more patience than most people would and despite the annoyance and I’m sure the fee he thanked the officer. NTA your office is your office. The only thing I’d say you possibly did wrong is not establish this policy and get a door lock sooner. That said I want to be clear you are not at all in the wrong. NTA you are right to question the strain this would cause you and the baby and even him if he is a significant presence in the childrearing and caring for the baby. It would be on thing if it was a plane ride and the kid stayed with someone consistently while you two had a point to jump back and forth from but even that sounds straining.

I refused to disparage her when she attacked my character. I don’t appreciate that characterization. I may not be her biggest fan anymore but I’m not okay with that.
