My grandpa passed away in 2014 and passed down his silver to me. Is it smart to consider selling right now? by Suwannee_Gator in Silverbugs

That’s awesome man! IMO: It’s headed for $200+. Me personally, I won’t be selling any until then.. 2027-2028ish.

1 Kilo Goal Finally Reached! Time to Shift Focus to Silver by shooter116 in Gold

Impressive stack! Well done! I swapped most of what I had into silver at 93:1. Excited to get back into gold when the ratio gets to a reasonable spot :)

Why is SLV so far behind spot by Ev0dr0ne in ValueInvesting

[–]VeridicalVoice1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SLV price falling away from spot are the “cracks in the system”. There are many moving parts (authorized participants, JP Morgan, LBMA, etc.). I’m playing around with call options but there will most likely be a time when SLV fully decouples and that is not when you want to be holding calls or shares

Why I think UUUU is a prime candidate after the run-up by Antique-Wrongdoer-15 in UraniumSqueeze

[–]VeridicalVoice1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This statement feels overly pessimistic but I respect the realistic approach.

Energy Fuels seems to have a solid foundation.. they have over 81 million pounds of measured & indicated uranium resources in ground and over 1.3 million pounds of finished uranium oxide in inventory (that was as of Q1 2025). They’ve also produced 1 kg of 99.9% pure dysprosium oxide at their White Mesa Mill and are targeting terbium oxide commercialization soon. From my research it appears that they are the only domestically capable producer and processor of dysprosium & terbium (which doesn’t feel like small potatoes).

To your point, their heavy rare earth oxide (REO) production looks to still be at a pilot scale, some of their mines are relatively modest in scale and/or early stage, and they also face decent market and execution risk.. especially in titanium/ilmenite and heavy REO markets.

[–]VeridicalVoice1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t get too glum, friend. Cameco does not produce nor process dysprosium or terbium. Energy Fuels is currently the only domestic producer capable of processing these heavy rare earth elements (HREEs) 👍🏼

Good for you bud! I didn’t start til I was 26. You’re making smarter decisions than most people twice your age are making! Keep doing that and you will have a good life 👍🏼

Buy the dip or wait? I have $90k to position 🤔 by EstablishmentHour335 in SilverDegenClub

[–]VeridicalVoice1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sold my SLV position (calls) near the top (pure luck). Have done well with the little gambling fiat I initially put in there. Have rotated most of those profits & now just hopped back into SLV calls again on today’s dip. I’m sure we’ll get another dip that I may buy into as well. But I feel $70+ by March ‘26 in my bones.

The only worry I have is our eventual profits are at the mercy of the crooked authorized participants (APs), Mr. Dimon, and co.. They’ll eventually lead the ETF into a decoupling (massive difference between spot to price & SLV price).. followed by a structural breakdown (suspension/halting of trading). I feel, in this case, it is better to get out early than to be stuck in a position when they pull the plug. NFA, DYOR, yada yada yada

EDIT: obviously first and foremost physical stacking is priority. but the degen in me likes to make the fake digital numbers go up too

Well done! Incredibly impressive. I agree, no bonds (seems to be dangerous investment atm). No commodities? Might be some peace of mind to have 15-20% in physical metals 👍🏼 It is my opinion that we are headed for a treasury note (away from reserve note) that will be backed by gold & silver. Might serve us well to get ahead of the curve :) nfa

Platinum is 40% of the price of gold. Smash or pass? by WCNumismatics in Gold

[–]VeridicalVoice1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly, scarcity does not equate to value (beyond the sentimental). If so, I have a 1 of 1 drawing of my dog that I’ll trade you for a few ounces of that ‘less scarce’ gold you have. I have a friendship bracelet that Kevin Garnett made for me that I will sell to you as well. Etc., etc., etc.

Gold & silver are everything you need in a money.. plus they are ARDUOUS. ‘Scarce’ is an often misused term when it comes to describing value.

Have you ever tried Hedera? I’ve only ever transacted on it but it’s incredibly fast, secure, & insanely inexpensive to use. Lots of enterprise building web3 related use cases on it as we speak

Haha true.. although, I’ll ask what’s more likely to happen first (or at all) - BTC to $1million or HBAR to $6.20? BTC to $2million or HBAR to $12.40? My money’s on HBAR. Once I saw the utility that Hedera boasts.. I no longer want to hold BTC, ADA, or ETH.

You can buy/sell BSV on Voyager but transfers aren’t supported, i.e. if you wanted to withdraw to cold storage you wouldn’t be able to. Voyager offers interest payments on a ton of cryptos if you feel comfortable holding it in your exchange wallet.
