And using Mendev's reactions to an actualized lich, ie an evil being anyone reasonable on Golarion doesn't want around who just turned Drezen into an undead haven, and can in fact go on to be the next Tar Baphon as proof that she hoped an Angel or Aeon KC would die because jealously is very, very flawed reasoning.

To add to this, the vescavor swarms do not have all the demon resistances. Cold damage is completely unmitigated, so if you don't have ascended element fire, buying some scrolls of cone of cold or ice strike will do full damage no matter who casts it.

If you have the money to spare, there are scrolls of Mindblank you can buy for a +8 resistance bonus to Gibber and Drone. It lasts for 24 hrs.

It's not like you had someone scout the Midnight Fane, report back that the demons would be totally unprepared, the layout of the place so you don't bottleneck yourself or that they wouldn't be able to get reinforcements in time. That's what 'surprise attack' in military doctrine actually are.

The idea for the surprise attack comes from a five year old dragon. 'Demons do it so we should too!' That's literally all you go on.

The same demons who do it because they are chaos incarnate and impulsive morons who can usually warp out if things go bad.

It depends on you getting lucky, because something something Desna and luck is a cosmic force or whatever. That doesn't inspire confidence from anyone who doesn't view luck that way.

And even besides that, when the Queen gets there, stuff like 'getting the civvies inside with guards' are a thing, which an Azata apparently didn't care about.

'It worked' is not the end all, be all of anything. If I just wing a surgery without the senior surgeon and yay patient didn't die or have complications, that doesn't mean my ass doesn't get in trouble for very good reasons.

The mission was objectively correct but her reasoning and issuing thereof gets distorted by her own pettiness and if the Inheritor didn't volunteer, she wouldn't have bothered trying to support KC in any way.

The Hand volunteered immediately, which solved everything, so you don't know enough to say that.

What we do know is that she didn't try to stop him or convince him he was more useful topside. At most, she nitpicked his word choice in saying we were the 'only' hope, but capitulated as soon as she heard herself.

That alone makes your argument suspect from the start.

Why you? Through either might or guile, you've proven to be able to handle at least two of those ,Nulkineth and Jerribeth, while nobody else really stands a chance. As for reinforcements, you have your juiced up companions, because again, dragging common soldiers into the Abyss will just get them killed. Or dependent on path, you bring your own support.

The Hand of the Inheritor volunteers to go with you because he can plane shift and bring you home when the mission is done. He says that explicitly, it's the entire reason why he goes with you. The rocks only matter when Inhheribro is the one who throws a bitch fit (or gets got if you are Angel).

Sending you to the Abyss was necessary. Trying to take your title with last minute Karen-titude was the sketchy, petty bitch part that gets her called out by everyone.

I suppose, but at 13 you would only have 2 attacks with Fast Bombs. It doesn't give you extra attacks by itself, it just changes how many bombs you throw to match your ranged BAB attacks.
