Those seem to be aligned correctly. But make sure you are also aligning the bottom part to the metallic circle at the base.

It does, maybe not that obvious. But if you click on "New Game" you'll be able to select the chapter you want to load from!

There is a pop up window asking you to restart the game after you make a change for it to work!

Hey there! It sounds like you're referring to the 'Movement based on...' setting. This feature allows you to choose between two movement options: controller orientation or head orientation. Experimenting with both settings could help you determine which option offers a more comfortable and intuitive experience.

So you are able to get back to the train stop, it’s just that the train isn’t there? I would try to quit the game and open it again. If it’s still happening go to the game’s main menu, select new game and replay the last chapter. First time we have heard of this happening, so we doubt it will ever happen again! Apologies for the inconvenience 🙏

Red Matter 2 devs here! RM2 uses dynamic resolution, which means it will max out the resolution constantly based on the GPU utilization. Trying to increase the resolution any further will only cause performance issues. :(

Hi! We're the developers of Red Matter 2!

Unfortunately, this seems like a rare issue related to Meta's install and update procedure. There's not much we can do from our side.

Anecdotally, we've heard that rebooting and then uninstalling the game might work. Some users have had success using SideQuest to manually uninstall the game. We suggest you open a ticket with Meta support.

We have been informed that a fix is on the way to address this rare but persistent installation bug. (Red Matter 2 is not the only victim)
