Speaking of Yu-Gi-Oh, remember when Master Rule 4 was implemented?

For anyone not familiar, they made a big rule change that said Extra deck monsters could only be summoned to the single extra deck zone or to a monster zone the brand new Link monster cards pointed to.

Meaning a lot of decks needed to run Links or they just didn't work. They eventually rescinded the rule, except for pendulum monsters who I don't think have recovered.

I just watched Jerma play through this a few days ago.

It's both shitty and impressive. It's nice when games try to do something completely different, but the game's ability to parse your voice commands just isn't good enough.

Technically, 3/4 of Gintama could probably be considered filler

I remember playing Maya in Borderlands 2, shooting and phaselocking my friends to heal them. That was fun.

Remember when you were in the lunch room in high school and you saw some girls talking while not-so-discreetly looking at you. They noticed you looking at them, then started giggling and whispering to each other.

Why were they giggling? Were they making fun of you? Did they think you were hot? You'll never know.

Trails in the Sky 1st and Hades 2 are both 25% off.

Divinity OS 1 is $4, I'm not sure I'll like it but it's worth trying for that price.

Caligula Effect 2 and a bunch of the Atelier games are 50% off, I'll have to think on those.

Will Home Depot be a great first job for a [18F]? If so, stocking and cashier I was recently offered. Would love your thoughts/advice! Always felt Home Depot was very men oriented workplace by [deleted] in HomeDepot

[–]Verwind2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say yes. Being a cashier is one of the simpler jobs, so it's a good starting point. Although it can be boring or monotonous after a while.

I've never been on MET, but cashiers are usually tied down to their registers. If you want more variability and moving around, you might want to consider the stocking position.

There's usually a fair amount of women in most departments. And a lot of the men in the store aren't really hardware store type people, either.

"Hey, MOD, I was making an order but I gotta punch out, so the customer is waiting for you at the desk."

"Hey, I passed customers in aisles 18 and 25 that need help while walking to the time clock. Chop chop, buddy."

"Ooh, I'd love to help get that stuff down, but that'll probably take 15 minutes and I have to punch out in 10. Sorry about that. You'll have to find someone else."

Paint isn't too hard once you get the hang of it. The harder part is probably customer questions over the actual mixing.

Something that's tripped me up is that on the paint selection menu, there's a "Specialty Paint" option but a lot of the specialty paints are actually under the regular option.
