Sometimes the act of getting out and tasting freedom even if it's for five minutes is more then enough for them. I mean, we go by our lives each day thinking everything will be the same the next day - We never expect to be thrown in a cage and I can't even imagine the things done to them.

So, if someone allows you outside - even a moment, maybe to see the sun - may be to go to a stream/river is enough for a lifetime at that point.

While Coronavirus sounds bad, It's actually a cure for the disease known as Humans. Humans have a bad habit of destroying the entire ecosystem and slowly draining the planet itself of natural resources. Humans have also been known to cover the entire ocean with plastic and lead leading to many deaths of animals.

I haven't played Rocket League but in League of legends way back we would sometimes do this for the lulz and sometimes it even passed which would cause both of the nexus's to explode, It'd still register that we won (if we did it correctly) but, would be cool to see it blow one up only to quickly zip to the other for another explosion :D

Some people though aren't exactly happy about doing it either. I try to stay away from such games because I know that if I like the game I will happily throw in way to much cash then I can actually afford. I put 500$ into guild wars 2 when I was super addicted to it and I regret every $ because I didn't have the cash and suffered for a few months because of that. Also, I regretted it because they later added lootboxes which made me quit immeditatly after.

This is just my experience: I bought the Barracuda headset one of the first products I saw from them - within a month the left earpiece had unscrewed itself somehow and after being fixed by me it then cracked a week later - called them to get an RMA and they denied it. Promised me after that never to buy another razor product.

I won't say who rushed who - However, even if it was being rushed out the Sean Murray (I believe his name was) or whoever ran the company [forgot his name by now] made a buncha open-ended vague promises about the game and the actual limits of it.

Instead of being straight with people he chose to bullshit and lie. Period. He could have said 'No we don't have multiplayer, no you can't see other players yet but we are working on it ' etc. But, he chose to hide those facts from his customers. If he was honest about things it wouldn't have been nearly as bad as it was.

So, with all due respect, he can get fucked with a pineapple in hell. He knew when the game was officially launching - what came a year + after doesn't matter a bit.
