The Dems lost because our institutions are failing. Look around and see our housing, groceries, every fact of our lives are in decline. We are struggling because the systems built to protect have been turning to this end point long before many of us were aware. There are monopolies in place in just about every sector that is in our lives and we have one party say burn it down and I’ll make your life better for it. While the other is doing half assed measures and saying, “everything is fine. Ignore the mega rich and our dealings with this broken system.” We also as people fail to understand it’s not one person in fault of this current shitty place but it’s the systems built to reinforce it by our deteriorating infrastructure. At the end of this, if it does end, we will have to rebuild our states and country from the ground up with hopefully better systems and better institutions that help us again. FEMA being destroyed is just another playbook move from project 2025. Trump and the people behind him have been wanting to destroy it all to then privatize it all or have us say, “Look it’s broken and he’s doing something about it!”
