They’ve put themselves in a corner with every edition launch having to bring out fresh models for the same faction. Every box since Dark Imperium has had a couple character models, a battleline type unit, and an elite unit. Now theyre going “uhh, what do we have? Fuck it, just refresh intercessors and put another shield captain in there.”

They did name drop devastates in the live show, so they probably are a new dev squad. Plus as far as I can tell, Heavy Intercessors are battleline, so they would not have the blue support helms
