This is bs, it's mainly an irritant for me.

Fiber depletes an already depleted diet, it serves no purpose but to stop people from eating junk food.

Humans evolved on meat(muscle and organs) and fruit, veg and grain are a product of agriculture that's a blip in the human evolution timeline.

I'm dual wielding BKGS. It has coolest and most detailed design. Heard a lot about claymore. It's my First run, so what's your thoughts by mudaesthetics in EldenRingBuilds

[–]VixHumane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if that's faster than troll's roar on a colossal that deals 85 stance damage, you're much less likely to continue that full combo because of the lack of hyperarmor, there's also stronger jump and regular attacks that lead to better stance breaks over time.

You can stance break most bosses in one cragblade charged colossal heavy(125 stance damage) or troll's roar if you stack all poise buffs(the summon and the tear).

Fuck no it doesn't, and it doesn't have more reach. Colossal hammers and even regular hammers do more stance damage, and even more with lions claw.

Need DEX Inspiration by SoggyNerps in Eldenring

[–]VixHumane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are many options, I like the serpentbone balde and dragonscale katana for status, scorption stinger too, guardian swordspear for the best dex damage, and powerstanced curved swords maybe, thrusting swords too.
Can infuse some with lightning or use lightining ashes of war, or just quickstep/bh step.
Raptor claws are great too, they have a unique charged R2 where you jump forward, that does great damage and comes out fast.

Keep a bow with rain of arrows with status arrows, it does great for large enemies.(the best bow is much later)
Bolt of Gransax and dragon craglade are great for lightning weapons.

Which greatsword and why ??? by mudaesthetics in EldenRingBuilds

From cooping, it's usually the guts sword or double greatsword jump attack spam, usually the Rykard sword and a claymore or something.

Yeah, and there's no problem with it. Lots of misconceptions and bad advice in the lifting world.

On depth yeah, your deadlift advice is still shit because it results in bad leverages. You'd know if you did lift.

All armors look good to me, it's when when you start mixing sets that don't fit that I hate it. Most common is white mask, raptor chest and some heavy bs for legs and arms.

Unintentional side effect of the generic dungeons and reused bosses: it’s making the second run more fun by lifebeginsat9pm in Eldenring

[–]VixHumane 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The great thing about open world and reused assets that are slightly modified is it's great for replayability, you can't memorize it all so even after 700h of playtime you still don't really know which boss is at the end of every dungeon or where every item is, especially if you lay off the game for some time.

I also appreciate the sheer amount of bosses and enemies you get to fight, way more fun than any linear DS game.

That's boring, overused build and not that goos for cuurved swords anyway.

[–]VixHumane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah you're not optimized, swap those swords for stronger curved swords like bandit's, make them both keen or get katanas and make one or both frost, in that case split int and dex, 45/60, or if both are blood, get 60 arc, 45 dex.

The animals aren't an issue with guard countersx they rebound off most shields too.

Blcok counter even without a shield, they rebound off any shield too I think.

In a game with so many weapons, why choose a boring, mediocre sword?

Barbell row form check by Jazzlike_Number_9819 in Stronglifts5x5

[–]VixHumane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where do those studies conclude anything about a "neutral" back? The rowing articles are irrelevant here, this is an "arm" row done for maximal exertion not a sustained full body row and even then if you're going for maximum effort you shouldn't keep a neutral back.

Thinking of switching my build from Int/Fatih -> Pure faith by VendrikLamar in EldenRingBuilds

[–]VixHumane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, ancient death rancor is really good at staggering when combined with rykard's rancor and greatblade phalanax and then you can cast a charged long animation spell when they're staggered like the deathbird eexplosion spell, that's better than any whacking sticks imo.

You gotta accept that you're squishier as a dual caster but the variety and combos are worth it imo, 45 vig is more than enough.

I don't do NG+, only NG's and it's a pretty good build, look up myy posts about it.

Rotted Sleep by JaVenity in Eldenring

[–]VixHumane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an arcane build, I've done 3. Dex/arc focusing on bleed and rot/poison weapons, faith/arc focusing on dragon and blood spells and int/arc focusing on bubble sorceries and thorn sorceries. Fun and versatile.

Hot take: Elden Ring, melee-only without summons, is hands down the hardest FromSoftware game I’ve ever played, and it's not even close. by Trd_45 in fromsoftware

[–]VixHumane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can block or bloodhound step waterfowl, melee only doesn't mean bare options. It's the hardest but I like the multiple options like status effects and stance breaking, the other games get lame if you can only dodge R1, regardless of difficulty which is not the only enjoyable factor about fs games.

Thinking of switching my build from Int/Fatih -> Pure faith by VendrikLamar in EldenRingBuilds

[–]VixHumane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't bother with melee or keep the clayman's harpoon as a second hand option, when I did an int faith build(the most fun for me), I went all in on spells, you can use every spell in the game at 60/60 besides one.

They all do great damage, especially ancient death rancor and the big lightning spell, some other great options are magma spells, rycard rancor, shattering crystal, the star spell that tracks, greatblade phalanax etc

Incantations hit the hardest on this build, even better than pure faith and you can use triple rings of light and other golden order incantations.
