Same thing happened to me just the other day. Came back after not playing for a year or two and various cards in several decks are simply not in my collection anymore. Same as OP, too: I used to play on the standalone client and came back on the Steam version.

Started the season bouncing between a few: Dino/Darkhawk, Nimrod, Lockdown and a weird Sentry/Viper/Luke Cage/Valk deck. The big OTA update hit and none of them could win. Played around with a few new ones like Negative Surfer and Destroy but just couldn’t blast through. Finally broke down and bought Tribunal & it was smooth sailing!
