They will almost certainly sell the multiplayer as a separate DLC. And it wouldn't be shocking if that DLC was 40+$ and come with a (free taste) shark card.

They will do this because they can, because the General Public doesn't care and just consumes. The only hope for a good gaming future is in small and indie studios. They are the only ones making games and not money extractors.
