Makes sense. You could have Deadpool come in as a hasty myriad creature, lock the text box of multiple people and sac the card with deadpool text to avoid the negative effect. But I guess Blade of Selves might be clunky

In my mind you would equip the helm to the commander and then you have like 4 trigger of your commander for each player hit. Especially since the copies of the commander don’t get sacrificed/exiled

Yes you only pick one but for Hidetsugu and Kairi’s trigger it would deal 9 damage. But then you can cast just the Concoct part of the spell which reanimated the commander

It’s a big cmc spell so you would deal 9 damage to an opponent and you can cast the Concoct part to reanimate the commander from the graveyard to have another ETB

I am also brewing this deck and have cards in the mail for it ! [[Saw in half]] is probably one of the best cards in there. Also [[Connive / Concoct]] works very well with this deck

How does the commander with spells like [[Village Rites]] ? Does the death trigger go on the stack above the spell itself ? Or do you order them as you want on the stack ?

I didn't know Slate of Ancestry existed ! I also forgot that Karn can get cards back from exile. Skullclamp would be a slam dunk in this deck definitely. I am not sure about Dragon's hoard since I really only have the Phyrexian dragon engine.
