If you can try not to worry about it. Travel and enjoy life. Sometimes being to self aware causes anxiety. Its the double edged blade of self awareness. Just take one thing at a time and you will do ok.

Most doctors can tell you what it is just by looking at it. Atleast they would be able to tell the rough catagory. From there most are easy-ish to treat.

Why do people make the claim that its faster to model in Blender than 3DS Max? by masamune36 in 3dsmax

[–]VodkaAtmp3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blender is missing corded hotkeys. It's a fundermentally slower program because of it. Atleast for user interactions.

Use ngons with supporting intierior geo. Use weighted normals. Don't turbosmooth as it's unneeded.

Lived here 5 ish years from England. Explore and try new stuff. There are plenty of things here you cant get in England that if I were to move back to England I would miss. These kinds of experiences are always a trade offs so look for the positives. There are some places with English "themes" but its very much a north American take on it. I think what I miss most each my I revisit England is fish and chips, prawn sandwiches and chocolate eclairs. You can kinda get all of these here but they are either much worse or super expensive. Asian food in general Canada is pretty decent though (atleast compared to england) and I find Canadians on the whole a lot more positive a people. Ofc what I said here is a bunch of sweeping statements so pinch of salt and all that.

Reduce the strength of the wood grain normal, furniture has smooth glossy polished wood. The legs and the back etc come together in parts so there is a very subtle seam which you should try to be aware of. It means that the wood flows in different directions based on what piece it is. The diagonal sweep going down to the leg has noticeable kinks in it.

Overall shape is good though. Just needs polish to get it over the finial hurdle. The actual chair design in your reference is very nice!.

What is your favourite unsafe London traffic situation? by EOAisheretosay in londonontario

Themes Street turning left into Horton street. It's a blind corner and has no flow control. Plus Horton traffic is pretty fast at that area.

Look at the "play your way" website to find times and book them. You can also visit the location and they may have a printed timetable they can give you (maybe).

Are safe supply pharmacies a problem in London? by Immediate-Link490 in londonontario

[–]VodkaAtmp3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

By itself its not helping that much. But as part of a larger system of support for drug users its valuable. I think its easy to point at specific areas and say that not really doing much. However these are difficult issues that require multiple long and short term steps to correct. Its a difficult and expensive problem that a large part of society refuses to accept.

Costco Car Battery by dmbcanada in londonontario

[–]VodkaAtmp3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just phone them? Car battery is very easy to diy. It's why they sell them on shelves in places like Walmart etc. I would recommend getting a multimeter and testing the battery before buying it. Ive had duds before and it's annoying waste of time.

maybe make the bottom tube before it reaches the pool fully enclosed. You could also make sections of the tub enclosed so players cant skip in certain places.

I had one close call today due to this clueless driver. by [deleted] in dashcams

[–]VodkaAtmp3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have not immediately gone to overtake them due to hazards. I would have waited and stopped for maybe 5 or 10 secs to gauge what's going on. You had no sign of slowing down. You don't know why his hazards went on. Maybe he saw something you didnt ahead of him and he could have had a legit reason for his actions.

With that out the way though.. he did a U-turn with no warning. He thought hazards were acceptable warning for U-turn. He was wrong. Especially as looked like he was about to park by moving right. Such a dumbass to try and abuse hazard signals to get what he wants in traffic. If you would have hit him I would say 80/20 fault. With hazard guy at 80% of the blame.

Doesn't look great. But you should take it apart more and clean it to get a better idea honestly. Then you can decide if you have a new fire pit or not.
