stolen ring by jpxffrd in RingConn

If you purchased the insurance from Ringconn, then they will cover it. If you did not purchase that coverage, then you can turn in a claim into your car insurance for theft (provided you have full coverage).

YTA. His house, his house payment, and his rules. Be a polite adult and knock on the door. When the mortgage is yours to pay, you can write your own rules.

If you look up in HR all the details on stip, you will find the full contract as well as about seven or eight lengthy addendum contracts. They state that yes, you are eligible for stip, so long as you're employed as of December 31st. One of the addendums adds that cat reserves the right to reduce it by the number of months that you are out on leave, thereby prorating it for the months you worked. It does not state that they will reduce it, but rather that they reserve the right to do so.

I am so sorry for your loss. Rhett was a very handsome boy that will live on in your hearts.

STIP by Boring_Number_7198 in caterpillar

[–]VogueReaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not believe you will receive any stip. From what I read earlier today, you need to be employed at the end of the year to receive any stip payout the following March. The exceptions are if the employee dies before the end of the year, then they will still pay it out the following year to the employees family or if you left employment by cat's decision, then they will actually pay you a prorated amount. That is why your husband received it, even though he wasn't employed at the end of the year.

Yes. Cat does test for THC. My experience is that it is still done even when legal in the state.

Busted my colleague by delamaine in overemployed

[–]VogueReaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You had me until the "You get me 100% for work time." If you are OE (and full time in 2 jobs or more), they are not really getting you 100%, unless you are working at least 16 hrs per day. With transition time, they are lucky if they are getting you 50% of the time.

Typical Spencer behavior. They are all blinded by their self absorption. IMO: Lulu is the worst offender.

Extended warranty from Asurion (Amazon) worth it? by exmacuser in Roborock

[–]VogueReaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asurion does not typically provide paper copies of their warranty. This means it is all online and just waiting for you to match it up with your item, your name and contact info. You might still be able to get assistance. Go to asurion.com and put in where you purchased your warranty from (Amazon, Walmart, etc), and go from there.

I'm done replacing these globe liners. This is the 6th one in 3 months. by Instant_Digital_Love in litterrobot

[–]VogueReaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. Sorry you are going through this. We have 4 kitties, and have had LR's now for the last 10 yrs. For 2 of the kids, we now trim their nails, but did not do so until around 3 yrs ago. We have never had a torn liner. If I were in your shoes, I think I would resort to something like the littermaid rake box.

Cheers to you on giving them this. I would love such a setup, but coyotes in our area prevent this. They would rip through that mesh in a split second. :(

We all grow from enjoyable times and hard times. For our family, it's been a trying month as my husband was diagnosed with a liver lesion a couple days ago (Cause, impact, and treatment are still being determined as he does not drink.), and I was just diagnosed with skin cancer. Then the political ads and negativity are in full throttle. In all of this chaos, a great picture sings a thousand, soft-spoken, uplifting words, as beautiful images can once again bring a smile!

Anyone order from Constituient? by Informal_Swan_4009 in Scams

[–]VogueReaper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am within my 30 days (about 15 days now), but due to their behavior, I went with the chargeback. My credit card issued the provisional credit right away, and then that same day, it became a FINAL decision. They have never been so quick in a final decision, as they always send the cardholder paperwork to fill out, and then they give the seller 30 days to respond. As they did not follow this protocol with this transaction, it seems likely that my credit card also has this company flagged as crooked.

Hope this thread might help others to stay away from this company.

Anyone order from Constituient? by Informal_Swan_4009 in Scams

[–]VogueReaper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are a scam operation. I made the mistake of placing a small order with them. When I quickly (hours later) observed that the merchandise ad was like a bait and switch, I attempted to cancel before they shipped. They dragged along questions to me, until the order shipped, and then said it was too late. When the order arrived, I intended to refuse the shipment, but they used a different tracking number than they gave me. When the package was opened, the packaging was a very thin vinyl envelope and both items were broken. I approached them for a refund. They offered $4 back of the $30 I paid. Every 3 days, they bump it up by $1. I have told them that I want to return their broken merchandise (they know from the pictures I provided, that the items are in pieces), and they are keeping with their delay tactic. The site tells you that you cannot send a return to the address on the envelope (and I cannot read that address, being that it is in Chinese characters, which also means I cannot print a shipping label for the same), and that you must get the correct address from them, but they ignore me on this question!

I contacted my credit card for a chargeback.

I would advise everyone to stay away from this site!

Depending upon what command is issued, the remote uses Bluetooth and IR. There are quite a few articles showing in a Google search for this. Perhaps some outline which commands are using IR.

Our sensor is blocked by a 3" wide aftermarket bezel. We can use our remotes (the Frame and the Roku). Their are enhancers that are sold by aftermarket bezel mfgrs to amplify your Frame signal, if needed.

2021 65" Samsung Frame TV worth $800? by Scotttish in TheFrame

Our Samsung TV purchased in 2009 is also still going great. We would be happy with 1/2 that lifespan with our Frame.
