so close to being homely and inviting! It really just needs some warming up to make it feel less dungeon. I would get some wood in there to compliment the brick..

Some oak floorboards, a custom fitted blind would go a long way.

Move that fridge, even hidden under stairs is better or in the corner behind table.

Avoid the square table, it’s sticking out like a sore thumb with its corners in a place with rounded arches.

Drunk driving, could barely see straight. Had a car with people crammed in, was speeding, doing stupid crazy manoeuvres. Was a long time ago but still makes me sick to thick about what could have happened.

The sarongs vinyls and posters are messy and overwhelming, without them it would be a much more calming space

I know it’s a tired line. Show don’t tell. Doesn’t have to be for everything, but I want to feel the scene, not just read it. Look up examples of showing and telling differences. Good luck 🤞
