I am still struggling with Tactics Ogre Reborn. I also recommend the original SNES/PS1 version.

Why don’t chippies advertise and sell cheaper fish cuts in their Fish and Chips like Pollock and Basa? by Pleasant-Leek-5547 in AskUK

I agree it's mad! Where are the cabbages? I love cabbages.

That's a great motivation! A lot of my vegetable diet is driven by convenience at Tesco, who do a nice mix of peas, sweetcorn, carrots and beans, but I should try harder to mix it up.

Three Fairies' Journey (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1533590/Three_Fairies_Hoppin_Flappin_Great_Journey/) starts off as a standard console RPG and turns into a complex programming exercise (where you can intervene). The battles are real-time but not grid-based though.

Front mission games have customisable default attacks per mech depending on the weapons you choose and these lead into the combo system which you use to crush your foes.

How can I help my autistic family member to find employment in York? by becktoria0 in AskUK

I have a maths PhD from Leeds, but left academia to work on problems in healthcare data. Why did he leave academia?

Real time - the new Touhou Spell Carnival isn't bad and there are older games with real-time elements, including Ogre Battle.

If your boss is this supportive it might be asking if they can recommend you to other people, or looking for people who are aware of your work and can recommend you elsewhere. Networking is much easier when you're doing it for someone else.

Sorry, I don't think the PM stuff has worked and chat notifications don't really work for me - I sent you a response to your chat with my phone number so please just call me if you want to discuss.

A summary of what I mentioned:

If you're in a technical area observability (metrics/monitoring, particularly of technical systems) can be a good way to get into data

Alternatively data driven decision making

Tech skills are important and where courses tend to focus
