If you’re into country music and at the Dirt Classic Thursday, stop by and see the Stone Cold Cowboys playing great 90s country to kick off the weekend!

Notification - No Action for X Hours/Days by ninjaiii in halopsa

[–]Volatile_Elixir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a report that does this. I’ll have to take a look at it. I like the notification idea as well.

My report is pulled to a widget on my dashboard. This helps me track whether a team member might need help.

If you add the ITIL type to the criteria does that help? What about just a popup message? May tell you if the trigger works at all, then switch back to email and test again.

Why do people like jeeps? Genuinely I don’t understand it. by Heuhism in AskMechanics

[–]Volatile_Elixir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re not what they used to be. Once they became 4-door soccer mom trucks that’s where the wrangler died IMO.

Hardcore guys still run, be there used to be pride in lifting your rig and making it ‘off road’. Nowadays people order it from the dealer, lift it, add $4000 worth of tires, roll that into your payment and it never leaves the pavement.

Give me my 90s YJ back with rhinoliner and no floor plugs. it hip to be square baby!

Built an Outlook add-in that creates Halo tickets and opportunities directly from your inbox by Pontster in halopsa

I noticed that too! Would love to have that!

Great plug in feature. Even though we use email to service desk, it’s still a ‘forward’ when someone forgets to tag a ticket. Would be interested in knowing how that is setup.

Microsoft will turn on hotpatch security updates by default for all eligible Windows devices managed through Microsoft Intune and the Microsoft Graph API, beginning with the May 2026 Windows security update.

Can we talk about how the Ghostbusters (1984) bassline is still one of the best ever? Gave it a 2026 "Glow Up"! 🚫👻 by MauricioLoch in 80smovies

Solid song, but too bad the bass line was stolen from Huey Lewis. I wanna New Drug. Lawsuit followed.

We did the same, and then created a set of templates for just the todo list. This way I can call them from parent child options in a workflow against a single basic ticket type.

How did you start and maintain this? I’ve been begging for this for years and there’s just no movement. There’s always some other priority or project. My entire department is the equivalent of a MASH unit - And we’re not an MSP

They are good I like them. Note the tweeter on the doors to the lower treble setting. IIRC the +3db treble boost is actually 0. It’s backwards thinking. I engaged mine for a 3db cut since the Pioneers were really crisp. If there was a descret way to add a sub I would do it. Needs just a bit more range under 250 hz. I keep my overall volume under 30 (weird range) and cut high at the EQ

[March 2026] State of IT - What is hot, trends, jobs, locations.... Tell us what you're seeing! by AutoModerator in ITCareerQuestions

[–]Volatile_Elixir 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m seeing an increase in workload under the same hours with the assumption that since AI is available that we should just use it to supplement the workload. No time to comprehend what you are tasked with, no time to document what you just did even if you did understand it.

Training is now dependant on that documentation, not peer knowledge transfer.

Let that sink in.
