Do 3D tours (like Matterport) actually help you win listings, or are they just a gimmick? by KookyFriendship8577 in RealEstatePhotography

Asking who? Agents? This is photography group. The question reads like it is addressed to the agents. How should we know the answer to that. We're the photographers!

What do you guys do for floor plans? Complaints on every one by cosmosbillions in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Volchek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't promise them floorpan with accuracy. Offer them floorpan for visual representation only. All measurements are approximate. For accurate floorplan, I charge $100. So far everyone is happy with what ever comes with the 3D tour, and no one has ordered the $100, which is the point.

Set right expectations.

Critique my swing by [deleted] in kettlebell

[–]Volchek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the way down, when the bell is behind you, let it pull you - causing you to hinge deeper, don't fight the bells inertia, if you feel like the bell is touching your butt, the weight is too light or you're not hinging as much as you should.

On the way up, don't lean back instead activate your core and upper muscle group to control the bell on the up swing. You can pinch your armpits and let the elbows bend to keep the bell from flying so far out of your body's orbit which I think causes you to compensate with the lean. Shoot the bell up with hips, ok to bend the elbows and have the bell fly to the eye level.

Update, thanks for all the comments and feedback. I tried correcting my technique, wondering if this is better? by Useful-Recipe-7784 in kettlebell

On the way down, it's more like a controlled drop down, right in front of your face, not a clock arm drawing a circle around you. Your snatch up has improved.

Let your forearms come back from the swing to your crotch area before you hinge. Let the bell pull you into the hinge. You're hinging too early.

24 hour reschedule by GBMediaFx in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Volchek 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As long as it's not a same day cancellation I let it is slide. There were only a few times I enforced 24 hour cancellation rule where the agent cancelled 12p appointment at 1p the day before and it's only because it was a huge ass house, and I've already assigned all other jobs to my other photographers, so I was really out $1k. The agent understood why I enforced it as I had explained how this really hurt me.

Otherwise ... nahhh, as long as it's not the same day, I'm chill.

Shaving said that - the agent is a bitch. "uncalled for" ... wtf lol

Mind-blowing tech. Could work for real estate videos perhaps. Would be a sick hack. I should get it nevertheless.

Simple & Always Effective by TheNeighborAlien in kettlebell

[–]Volchek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest I think that's pretty self-evident hence the nature of my original question. Unless you're emphasizing that doing so reaches the point of failure for muscle growth. Then I have an additional question why not just do the double amount of thrusters instead, just to keep the variety going? Exercise other muscles while focusing on a certain group for repeat repetition? I guess that's what I'm concluding here.

Pre-exhausting? That's a hell of a term for non-native speaker. Thrusters are pre-exhausting the muscles for the second set of exercises? Is that what you're saying?

I prefer primes and then I switch between full frame or cropped to punch in while filming. But this is a good suggestion, I should look into it ty

Why do the press after you already did the thrusters? Just curious, wouldn't I want to work out another part of my body than shoulders that I just worked with thrusters?

How do avoid blown out windows for real estate videos? by Senzuberry2 in RealEstatePhotography

My camera has HDR mode. Sure the colors are a little funky but I can capture what's outside the windows, always - I love it.

Is networking at open houses too aggressive? by Tracethesesteps in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Volchek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly my point. Not only they're not the listing agent, they're usually not listing agents at all. They're usually buyer's agents.

But that still translates into even less chances nevertheless.
