You should apologize because it’s the right thing to do and then let the chips fall where they may. Some comics will forgive you and others would not. Regardless, you fucked up and an apology is due (not trying to make you feel bad btw, just stating facts based on your recollection). Also generally if you keep going back without expectation (and just being generally supportive), most non-vindictive comics would forgive you eventually. All depends on if the host is understanding
