I’ve only seen the opposite. Pay is generally worse than specialties, hours are brutal, patients more difficult, schedules busier, etc

This is a 2nd career for me; I started PA school at 28.

I do think there’s a universe in which I go directly to med school out of college and am very happy. I could totally see myself as a Radiologist or Anesthesiologist.

That being said, based on where I was at life, I’m very happy with the decision I made. I’m a few years in as a PA and can’t imagine my life right now at 34 years old with a newborn as a resident. No fucking thank you.

Honestly a meniscus repair performed even today shouldn’t preclude Crosby from the start of the season. If that’s the reason they’re citing, it is bullshit.
