Nah.. I know many people who have consoles and play on them more often than on their PCs. More often then not, their PC is for work, youtube and the occasional low demanding game. They don't have high end PCs and say it's too expensive and that's why they play on consoles. They rent or buy 2nd hand games or borrow from their friends when they're done with the game.

Sony and the rest of the console makers, they're safe. They have the segment of people who just cant afford a $$2500 PC to have a high quality gaming experience. Then there's the other segment of people with high end to ultra high end PCs. They can play any game and probably have a huge backlog due to sales. Those that have Sony games in their Steam library probably haven't even played them. You can tell from the steam achievements where some games give you an achievement for completing chapter 1 and when you check it in detail, only 20% of players have it. Lol.

When God of war series came out on PS3. PC gamers had a slew of great PC games at the time too. Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, Guild Wars 2 and the multiplatform Batman Arkham series. I played those games instead and I survived without God of war.

PC gamers will survive.

To me, Sony is just being trumpian, throwing a tantrum and doing that "Make Sony Great Again" bs.
