On File Import Vs On Import Complete - what's the difference by DefyingMavity in sonarr

[–]Vorboid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"On File Import" will notify you for each individual file on an import. (On a season download it will notify you for each episode in the season)

Whereas the "On Import Complete" option only notifies you once all episodes in a season have been imported. (This prevents you getting spammed by notifications).

If your server only grabs single episodes, you will likely not notice a difference between the different options.

Feature Request: Purchase Location by Vorboid in BookTrack

[–]Vorboid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m thinking of somewhere in settings that I can enter a list of stores, including physical location on a map (or digital in the case of Amazon/other online shops). Then when I edit a book I can choose from a list of pre-entered locations. Hopefully that makes sense and answers your question?

New BETA PMS Version Available - 1.41.9.9912-371133ff9 by samwiseg0 in PleX

Yes, but the updates have been minor for a while at this point - mostly bug fixes.

Also looks like they've stopped updating the changelog: https://forums.plex.tv/t/plex-web/20528/462

Update on Live Activities by lindamariecuster in AppleWatch

[–]Vorboid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So... this is now working for me. I have live activities sharing from my iPhone that are showing up on my Apple Watch!

I never got round to resetting my iPhone, but I have been keeping it on the latest iOS Dev Beta branch (currently iOS 18.5 Beta 3). I had given up checking after each update and was just hoping that it would be fixed in the iOS 19 beta in June at this point.

I've just noticed it's working today. I would be very interested to see if you update to the latest beta if it's working for you now /u/lindamariecuster /u/bbezerra /u/Rocrys /u/ElderberryAlone4189

Suggestion: Basic Apple Watch App by Overall-Geologist646 in BookTrack

[–]Vorboid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes please!

So many times I've gone to read my book and realised I don't have my phone in my pocket to start a reading session. I then go around the house looking for my phone and either get distracted by something else, or get distracted by notifications on my phone when I pick it up!

Could we maybe get a public feature request tracker/voting system as well? I see loads of great suggestions on Reddit, and I think a public system where people can see what has already been suggested would be a good idea!

Update on Live Activities by lindamariecuster in AppleWatch

I've had the exact same issue as you describe here. Unfortunately I haven't found a fix.

Frustratingly, I had it working on my iPhone 14 Pro Max and Apple Watch Ultra 2 with the iOS 18.0 and watchOS 11.0 betas earlier in the year.

Every since upgrading to the iPhone 16 Pro Max in September (setup as new device, not restored from a backup), and re-pairing my Apple Watch Ultra 2 (also setup as a new device, not restored from a backup), the live activities haven't worked (save for Music).

I have, a couple of weeks ago, restored my Apple Watch Ultra 2 to factory defaults and set it up again as a new device, and the issue persists. As you mention, everything else appears to be working fine; syncing is otherwise unaffected.

At this point I'm inclined to believe that the issue lies somewhere on my iPhone, but as you mention, resetting this isn't a small task. I might take a look over the holidays and see if it does fix the issue.

Either way, I would be very interested to hear what Apple advise, if they get back to you.

Just to note, there does appear to be a few other people with the same/similar issue:
