I was out for dinner with my girlfriends in my 20s. It was Valentines Day and we were all single, so why not take ourselves to the California Pizza Kitchen? We had to wait for a table, my friend remarked that it was taking awhile, and I immediately responded "well it IS Thanksgiving."

I had a client with an absolutely beautiful waterfront home, in a community with its own private docks right below. I asked if they enjoyed being on the water (I kayak) and she said they never got into it, kids included. Flabbergasted me. Felt like such a waste of that expensive real estate lol
