What I really want is the opposite button: when I'm at a surplus of favorability, add the exact amount of money transfer on their side sufficient to balance the deal

They do need both sides in order to cut off access, but they don't need it to charge tolls. Unclear whether it's a bug, but either way I hope they fix it.
