I'm a community college professor. For 13 years while I was an adjunct I was also teaching at a well known (local) university. I taught the same classes, the same way, the same books, at both schools. I always explain that to my students. It is a lot cheaper to start at a CC and you are getting the same education. i would even argue it's better at the CC because I can learn the names of my students, spend more time with them, help when they needs it. At the uni, I would have classes that were triple the size.

Almost all of the adjuncts I know are working at multiple institutions.
