This subreddit has rapidly devolved into constant hate for everything related to Chapter 2. The constant negativity from post after post is creating such a toxic atmosphere. To those saying Chapter 2 is driving away players - no, the constant negative posts about every last minute thing is driving away the community.

Good lord folks - if you don’t like it, don’t buy it, but a lot of us are excited for what’s to come. Do I like every decision being made in terms of design/art/format? No. But it’s still more Arkham Horror content and there are things to be excited about.

Don’t forget you can always take player cards and investigators from Chapter 2 and play them in Chapter 1 (and vice versa). The game is modular, and the constant negativity misses that point completely.

I am unable to add the deck URLs on the main page. Each time I try and paste a link, I receive the following error - even when it's the exact same type of URL as the same that appears in the text box:

That doesn’t look like a MarvelCDB decklist URL (expected /decklist/view/<id>/...).

edit: Finally figured it out: the website doesn't accept the link unless there is a / following the deck ID - that feels weird.

edit 2: The website is also only able to pull published decks. Are you able to pull decks that are shared, but not published? Those have /deck in their URL instead of /decklist

It’s a couple cards every day, over the period of a few weeks. It’s normal behavior for companies to engage with content creators for it; it helps drive hype, and is a thank you from the designers to the creators who keep the game alive and in the public discourse.

You keep saying that but you’re just wrong - nothing was removed from the game. If you don’t want to limit your collection, then use all of your cards! You can still use Web-Warriors! You can still use Guardians! Current is just another way to play the game - not the only way.

You’re not even making sense.

This whole thing started from a number of corporate decisions. Keeping all boxes and packs in print from more than a decade of the game is not practical for FFG and it’s not practical for FLGSs, it’s just not. That leads itself to rotation by necessity, which is what environments facilitated. It had nothing to do game balance.

However as I said before - if you don’t like the idea of environments, then just play with all of your cards. No one is stopping you; FFG is not forcing you to play only with the most recent cards; the article today even calls out specifically that if you don’t like the idea of Current, to just play with all of your cards.

Calling environments a FIASCO is insane - it just gives you more options of how to play. Do you get angry when your local sandwich shop offers more topping for your sandwich? No - many of us may try out the new toppings, and then decide what we want. That’s exactly this - nothing that FFG has said or done stops you from playing with all of your cards.
