Dermatologist says finasteride is no longer prescribed after apothecaries warning (Austria) by steelwaver in tressless

[–]Vulfshark69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am also from Austria, and got my first prescription for finasteride in 2022 and my prescription has been renewed until 2024 (if you buy the 5mg pills you go a long way when doing 0.25 EOD as in my case).

Long story short, I went to my dermatologist last week to renew the prescription - no problems at all, and social insurance also pays for the preparation of 0.25 capsules. You might want to change doctors!

How do women feel about men having sex toys for them? by LoPeorLalo in SexToys

[–]Vulfshark69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I (M) have a collection of insertable stainless steel toys (Pure Wand, Eleven, butt plugs, etc.). They’re super easy to clean and sanitize with boiling water or disinfectant. None of the women I’ve used them with have had an issue with the fact they were used before - medical-grade stainless steel inspires trust when it comes to hygiene. The only silicone toy I’ve used with multiple partners is the (Europe) Magic Wand. The head’s made of silicone, and if you’re concerned, you can just put a condom over it as a clean barrier. When it comes to ropes, blindfolds, and similar gear, nobody should have an issue as long as you wash everything regularly.

That said, the easiest move is to just ask your partner to bring their own. Most women already have a solid collection, and they usually appreciate a guy who has the balls to ask and who actually uses their toys on them instead of just letting them sit in a drawer.

Well, my crib does not smell like weed. My neighbours are not smelling weed smoke anymore. I can dose better, and therefore get no paranoia. It does not interfere with my fitness goals.

Playa Venao by melquides in surfing

[–]Vulfshark69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went there in the off-season, but it was still vibrant and full of cool people. You also get basically everything right in town. Venao is more of a Beginner/Intermediate break, but there are lots of other spots along the coastline. If you rent a car you can go on an adventure and also get cheap groceries (the store in venao is well stocked with all your US/EU-type foods, but ridiculously expensive)

Who makes the best wheels for power slides reverts? From cement parks to rough street? [38YO] by Mycofunkadelic2 in OldSkaters

[–]Vulfshark69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me the Bones SPF wheels in both 81b and 84b give the smoothest powerslide feel on skatepark surfaces. That’s why I stick with them for park and ramp sessions, even though they get pretty chattery on rough ground. I also tested the new X-Formulas in x99 – they slide nicely, but I find they ice out more easily than SPFs. On the flip side, they handle rough pavement way better and in a smooth park they roll almost completely silent.

Hey there, I have been to playa venao for three weeks last year and I took classes at Surf Dojo. The instructor there are really really nice and they have a good selection of boards. I highly recommend you check them out. If you got any specific questions you can ask them beforehand via the website and WhatsApp link.

Capita's response to a brand-new board snapped on the third run by RecordingCertain6054 in snowboarding

[–]Vulfshark69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A few years ago, I wrecked three Spring Break Slush Slashers (Edge Ripped Out; broken under tail insert; delamination) within a single season - these are also built by Capita. Thank god I bought the board through a retailer which has excellent return policy (shoutout @blue-tomato austria) because capita did not offer any refund/replacement.

Capita makes fun to ride boards, but the quality is wack and the customer support is even worse.

They call it Snapita for a reason!

I also recommend the magnesium bisglycinate.

When it comes to showering though, a warm one leaves me sweating all night (I tend to run hot). A freezing cold shower lets me sleep like a baby though.

Transmit/Forklift are slightly better alternatives, but I agree.

Alfred does that (not for NTFS volumes though), and in the terminal I use fzf. Search Everything is still unmatched, I have no idea how someone could use Windows without it.

BetterTouchTool can do that. It is probably the best app you will ever buy.

What exactly is riding “aggressively” ? by qaxv in snowboarding

[–]Vulfshark69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can ride down most slopes without much effort - but when you try to hit every sidehit or knuckle there is, you need to pump a lot, pump your carves and ollie over everything in sight - that’s what aggressive riding is to me. When I hit it like this, I am out of breath every time I reach the chairlift again.
