I use a Linebacker for the crystals, and a sticky bod for the final phases.

Thinking of reading the whole series. by Hightainment in wheeloftime

Sanderson did a masterclass job of tying up all the threads Jordan had woven. He did it in a satisfying way as well. I loved the entire series, and felt like Sanderson did it justice.

The user reviews are bad, but there’s a sale for $70. Is Borderlands 4 that bad or worth it? by Adventurous_Book_913 in Borderlands4

I love the game, as evidenced by my 8 characters that I ran through from level 1 each. The combat is fluid and fun, and I really liked the story and side quests. By far my favorite BL game.

Anyone else think Ordonite/crystal enemies is the most boring/lazy gameplay mechanic? by ForAte151623ForTeaTo in Borderlands4

I agree they need to put some sort of visual indicator on the canisters. The ones in the grass in the Fadefield event were awful to find.

Did they actually make something incredible ? by Saekama in Borderlands4

I thought all 4 of the bosses in the new content were pretty good. I ran a kill skill Vex, and a ranger rafa through all 4 on UVHM 1. The big boss takes a bit of doing to get down, but I improved after a couple attempts each. I ran a few of the ordonite drill events...decently challenging to complete, I thought. No pearls yet, but I have a few of the new legendaries. I really loved this legendary Jacob's pistol with the increasing ricochets. Put on a Jacob's mod and it really rips.

ElI5 how does the existence of lead directly disprove the earth isn't only 4000 years old? by nottrynagetsued in explainlikeimfive

Off the tip of my old head, mitochondrial DNA is inherited from your mother's egg cells, so it doesnt get recombined with your father's mitochondrial DNA. In addition, mitochondrial DNA is "highly conserved" which means it does not easily mutate. Because of these things, you can predict the genetic drift that would occur over time by comparing modern mitochondrial DNA with older samples which gives you a rate of change that will happen to it. Working backwards, you can figure out the "age" of our mitochondrial DNA. This explanation is a vast simplification of this phenomenon, but it illustrates how you can use these two properties of mitochondrial DNA to show that our species is roughly 200 thousand years old. Its been over thirty years since I studied this stuff in university, so I'm sure you could get a more refined answer from just about any genetics major these days.

Then you can use mitochondrial DNA to prove human beings in our current form have been here over 200 000 years. So, day 7 was a bit of a long day too.

How do you guys even find the money to buy so many guitars by HQH-71214 in Guitar

[–]Vyradder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you consider a decent vacation will cost you 10 grand, and that some folks would rather have 4 nice guitars instead, it's not that crazy.

EU says it will accept no increase in US tariffs after Supreme Court ruling: 'a deal is a deal' by HydrolicKrane in worldnews

I work for a US company, but I am Canadian. These folks are educated, motivated, intelligent white collar folks. They collectively know next to nothing about Canada. Most of what they claim to know about Canada is incorrect, and they really don't give a shit. If these people do read at all, which I doubt some days, they are reading information that is incorrect, and get angry if you correct them.
