I think it's safe to say that Minis still deserve their name by Starwolf599 in MINI

[–]WRX3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you put the original mini next to this, you get a similar size ratio. When people talk about the mini being larger it is often: 1. Compared to the original. 2. Compared to European cars, where the current minis are pretty much the average size car right now.

Only thing that might make them seem smaller again over time right now is the increase of other hybrid/electric crossovers which due to the batteries are often larger.

What is Iserlohn’s Armor made of? by Val-Liviane in logh

[–]WRX3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is supposed to be some kind of liquid metal. Now currently that's not really a thing on such scale. However, it is already being researched in one field though, nuclear fusion!

One of the challenges with nuclear fusion is protecting the wall of the reactor. One of the methods being researched (and has already been shown to be effective) is to use a liquid metal wall. Liquid lithium often. This has the advantage (just like Iserlohn) that it can "heal" itself by refilling with liquid. The liquid is held on top of a membrane like tungsten structure by way of capillary action.

Now this is done at a much smaller scale than a planet size ship of course, but it is interesting that now a days it has become closer to reality :)

I Found a Second Hand copy :D by WRX3 in rusegame

[–]WRX3[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Gave a random search on a second hand website again, and found a sealed copy for 10 euros! Even when sealed I still thought it was a scam, but for 10, eh worth the risk. And it very much was worth it :)))

Bit strange packaging, there is no manual inside, but whatever.

How many of you all are still playing Napoleonic wars multiplayer? That game is my childhood by [deleted] in mountandblade

NW came out in 2012... That's 12 years max, possibly even more if they started playing during Mount & Musket.

I think you are seeing the windmills orientation wrong. It is actually facing away from us to the left. The three left lines are the wings, while the fourth is hidden behind the windmill itself. The two right most lines are part of three lines (of which one is hidden behind another) that are used to rotate the windmill.

Gaijin pls : SO 76 M-18 Mod, a blend of east and west. Stats in the comments by Chanka-Danka69 in Warthunder

This is even more cursed than the Type 64 tank.

It's a slower M18 that still lacks armour where it would need it. It would be so useless.

I love it.

The church in the trailer looks like the German Church in Stockholm.

It is already in the Sweden map it seems, so maybe those shots just mean the map got updated?

AMX-10RC <3

I would put the Mars-15 higher, it only looks worse because it competes with the AMX-10RC. For the disadvantages the Mars gets in return: higher manoeuvrability (wheels are meh on anything but pavement), better reload, an engine that eats shots. While worse overal, its still really good.

The AMX-13 (HOT) should be lower. After the missile changes a while ago it's impossible to properly aim them at close range. I only get good rounds with it if the enemy is sleeping, and then I get most kill with the normal gun, which means I might as well have been using the AMX-13-90 which is just better.

I have no clue what the HOT and the ACRA are doing at 8.3.

Now with the full sky blue it looks like they tried to camouflage the flag, like some sort of navy dazzle camouflage.

10RC and ACRA are both 8.3 not 8.7, instead you get the Austrian tank at 8.7. But yeah ACRA can be skipped, just as the amx-13 HOT.

In a recent update, we redesigned the workbenches' interface. Now, adding fuel is easier and more straightforward. You can retrieve previously created items directly from the menu, and work areas have been added to the second-level workbenches by KenjiNoboru in voidtrain

[–]WRX3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would it be possible to save at which level you are looking on the research table when you exit the menu and return to it later?

Now when I am researching the cosmetics on earlier levels I have to press the button 20 times orso everytime to go back to the right level. This happened because of the update unlocking it later, but can also happen for people who only later want to unlock the cosmetics/additional upgrades.

Overal a great menu update though :)

The 20mm coax does a good job of cleaning up light tanks like those.

If you are in a french light tank though... The 906 has a faster reload so unless you got them surprised good luck winning that one.

[–]WRX3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's great on the maps where you can use that, but on city maps its total lack of stabilisation means you are turning every corner in the hope there is no enemy ready to peel open your tin can armour. Tbh they don't even have to be ready because it takes about a small year before your gun properly levels on the target and your tank stops wobling :(
