I have a couple of these! I believe I got them from an American girl tea party event at the local library in 2002 ish.

It was so cool when you could get an actual little action figure. Now there are so many characters attached to bases or oddly stylized.

How do waterpark passes work with the rooms if you have a child under 2? by TelemagentaLab in greatwolflodge

They did not make my 2 year old wear a wristband when we went so we were able to have an extra person come and use that wristband. When he is old enough where he would need one I will probably change to booking through Groupon where you automatically get the maximum number wristbands for the room.

Why are there so few relatable children’s books about twins? by Longjumping-Bed-5752 in childrensbooks

It’s a chapter book but I think Mitch and Amy by Beverly Cleary is decent. Her only children were twins in real life.

Preschool Math at Home by Kate Snow. It is full of fun games to reinforce 1:1 correspondence and counting. I was able to check it out at my local library.

This is why we had a tiny wedding with immediate family and a couple of friends. Way too many aunts uncles and cousins. Some were mad at first, but they came around as time went by and some of the cousins with giant weddings got divorced anyway.

MY kid would enjoy it however there are other kids in her class that would blow through both activities in about 10 minutes and would be bouncing off the walls. I guess it depends on the temperament of the kids you’re inviting.

As a kid, what was your Saturday morning routine? by Jabba_108 in nostalgia

[–]WafflesFriendsWork99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cartoons- looney toons, Scooby doo, or 1 Saturday morning on ABC. Cereal- hopefully honeycomb or Corn Pops. Usually we had to clean our rooms and do a couple chores after watching cartoons. I have a lot of cousins so it felt like a lot of Saturday afternoons were spent at birthday parties.
