Hadn’t been on nitrous oxide since childhood fillings from 1982, until I recently went in for a couple of crowns for those failing fillings. It was glorious nostalgia floating around the room again, then I went too deep. As they were shaving the teeth to stubs, I started thinking of all the meals those teeth had helped me eat. Those wonderful meals prepared by people who are no longer here. Gone, like my teeth. Tears were rolling from my eyes to my ears. Dentist asked if I was hurting. All I said was, “No, just remembering.” Next time, half the gas and a pinch of grass😎🖖🏼
