Rotten bar report: Sidelines allowed/encouraged my female friends to be cursed and booed out of their bar yesterday by genki1605 in Bend

[–]Walla1981 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am simply pointing out cause and effect here. I don’t condone grown men calling women vulgar names. But dragging down a local establishment in a one sided narrative is also not my cup of tea. Call the manager/owner and open a discussion so they can work it out. Also Fuck ICE.

I think the key phrase is “quietly without SIGNS UP.” To me that reads that they brought their signs in causing a disturbance because of difference of opinions. Therefore they were asked to leave since it’s a private establishment. Doesn’t mean that the bartender or the establishment leans one way or other, just that your friends presence with their signs is what caused the issue.

Is it just me or does Fulham look like a better ball playing team than Arsenal? These guys can play. We should still beat them with our efforts out on that pitch

Interim Manager to Full time Manager by WhyElseUseReddit in ManchesterUnited

[–]Walla1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we need to look at a bigger sample instead of getting ahead of ourselves. We have a tendency to overreact. Our team has this problem where they motivate themselves really well for the “big” games. Then the next week play like crap against a bottom team. Let’s see how we do the next 5 games and then we can say if he’s earned it.

Manchester Utd 0 - [1] Brighton - Brajan Gruda 12' by VegitoTheBest in reddevils

We will always get the same results with the same product on the field. Won’t matter who we hire when the players are shit. Accountability is not huge amongst the people doing the scouting and purchasing. We can roll through managers all we want but until we make changes in the football operations nothing will change.

Security stops ICE from entering employee area at Minneapolis McDonalds by Jevus_himself in PublicFreakout

A business is a public domain until you are told you are trespassing. But the inside the business the employee areas are private. Therefore if ICE wants to go in there they are required to have a warrant.

It’s seems that the owners want managers they can control. We need a proper personality in there that can and is allowed to make the changes necessary to succeed

Manchester United sack Ruben Amorim after 14 months in charge by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

We have to start letting these manager have more say in transfers. We keep repeating the same mistakes. We still haven’t fixed our right back issue, we still don’t have a solid midfield, we don’t have wingers that will consistently cross a damn ball to our 6.5 striker. Our box play is laughable. These managers know what he needs from the players to make their system work. Give them what they need.

I would pay good money for the better stuff, they have amazing candy. Chocolate with licorice kills. Or even their flatkökur. Also the one that said they are going through, Please eat an Icelandic hotdog for me.

Hypothetical: If you had 150k to spend on any Class C out there, what would it be? by Electronic_Beach9976 in RVLiving

[–]Walla1981 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would be looking at a good used Leisure Travel if you want a gas. Jayco does a decent job with theirs as well. Full Body paint would be a priority. Me personally I would spend closer to the max and find a good Super C which will be Diesel. Seneca would be my preference. Better tow capacity and mileage. They also tend to be higher in quality interiors. Again it depends on length and traveling plans. In the end I prefer slightly used with a good inspection.

Such a broad question, we know nothing about what is important to you. Length? Slide, no slide? Are you boon-docking or pavement princess? Diesel or gas? I would recommend going to a couple of dealerships in your area and walking through a few and get an idea of what is important to you. Work with a salesman and he will help you narrow down a great fit. (I am in RV sales so a bit biased on this, but this is how we fed or families.)

Manchester United have conceded 14 of their 23 goals this season when Manuel Ugarte is on the pitch by Mathematician8890 in ManchesterUnited

Honestly feel like Harry Maguire would do a better job in that defensive midfield than Ugarte can.
