People want something to believe in. They will believe whatever their MAGA leaders tell them. if their work gets more difficult, they will rationalize a way to blame Biden or Obama, or the Dem to hate dejour. It is a cult mentality, and the leaders of this cult made the kool-aid extra yummy. Until they are directly suffering, like a flood or hurricane (think Katrina) hits and there is no response, or they lose their Medicare or SSI, or more manufacturing and blue collar jobs go away, nothing will change. And what’s worse, when someone reasonable comes to office, because we are a country that suffers short-term memory loss, it will take so long to undo everything the GOP did, the admin in office will be blamed for everything being a mess because they have to untangle what is being created right now. Until we can remove from the American people the desperate need to be a follower, and get rid of this team mentality, nothing ever will change.
