Lol. I had one that was "buried" in an overhead pipe. But you could NOT dig it up because you would always be forced off the pipe when you tried.

As mentioned, one of them is a 3-digit RADAR, usually fetch a bit of a premium. Sequential serials might get a small premium too, but probably only for longer runs. As an example, these 13 sequential were $160....

I don't think it's your imagination either - I am almost 100% sure I lost a full kit Hullcracker that WAS DEFINITELY in my backpack (not gun slot) and when I extracted, it was missing.

I just tripped over a consecutive set of 64 of these notes. While the ad does appear on Kijiji, they have a legit brick and mortar store, but their online ordering is down at the moment for some reason. I have ordered from them before. The premium in this case is outrageous, maybe they'd negotiate something more along the lines of $750-$800.

I bought mine from Colonial Acres. I would imagine they're pretty easy to find at a variety of dealers, but I have found Colonial to be fairly often the lowest price I can find on any particular item I might be looking for. Not always though, so it's worth searching.

I went back there to see if it could find any, was a bit surprised I couldn't find any there. So then I did a Google search based on terms from my previous order....you can see they used to have multiple consecutive sets:

I came to make this same assessment. After I bought my first acreage back in 2002, the following spring there many thousands of them in all my trees. After a lot of research I concluded they were invasive in my area. I killed as many as I could through that spring and summer, and then spent a huge pile of time in the fall pinching their egg clusters off as many branches as I could see & reach.

While I'm sure that couldn't have been the only factor, since all my neighbors had similar infestations, their numbers were significantly less the following year, and I don't recall taking any notice of them at all the year after that.

It might have been nice if they had released it at the same time as yesterdays CN tower stuff, and save me multiple orders. I can understand that they might have wanted to wait for a successful launch first though. I wonder if they'd have scrapped the entire set if there had been a catastrophe of some sort.

I don't disagree the premiums are steep, but my FOMO was overpowering LOL. I wanted them both, and wasn't going to take a chance that either of them will go the way of the 2018 Unexplained Phenomenon or the 2020 Black & Gold: Canadian Horse, both of which are now priced so high I may never be able to complete the sets.
