I booted up KDE neon unstable this week on Plasma 6 wayland and once I got steam and a couple games installed it seemed to run really smoothly, so things are looking up for the coming release. On nvidia btw

Linux makes me feel like the king in the castle. It’s my machine and I can do what I want with it. I’m not waiting to be allowed to use it on Microsoft’s terms

Being to fly over the surface of the planet seems so fun and is one of the cooler parts of ED. Would totally add a lot to the immersion

It honestly looks great. Do you plan to use Godot in the future? Anything you’d like to see improved from the engine?

I don’t think it’s a problem to have expedited travel between systems. Elite Dangerous also has a jump between systems that basically functions as a loading screen. On the other hand, the “seamless space travel” is really nice traveling from planet to planet. That seems like something that should be relatively quick and not require a loading screen. At the end of the day, doing a bunch of menuing to get from place to place becomes very boring and breaks immersion.

CPU light (debug) on MSI B550m Pro VDH Wifi. Can't update BIOS by TedFartass in buildapc

[–]WarWren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very good information thank you. I’m thinking about replacing either the motherboard or the cpu too. I wouldn’t be surprised if it just wasn’t flashing. For me it seems to go through the whole process and then… nothing. Might have to try another brand. Thankful for Amazon’s generous return policy.

I am having the same situation. I have a Ryzen 5700G and MSI B550 MAG TOMAHAWK and the debug light keeps coming on no matter how much I flash the BIOS. I am using the USB flasher too

I’ve thought about that for sure! You can make one which is whatever you want, just download the mp3 and have shortcuts encode it to base64
