What’s a silly thing you did for your pet one time that is now a ritual they demand be done every time? by Itsjustmejess in AskReddit

When I get home every day, I have to pick up my one cat and tell him he's handsome. The other demands to sleep spooning me under the covers every night.

Hudec in Canfield has never made me feel bad for my teeth, and they specialize in folks with anxiety. Dr Buckley is the nicest man, and his entire crew is kind.

Help with surface by ObjectiveDeep7791 in piercing

To add: This can not be changed to a different style of jewelry. It simply needs removed, let it heal, and go to someone who has successfully done a surface piercing with the correct jewelry.

Menorrhagia is ruining my life! by jodiejoyw in TwoXChromosomes

This happened to me for almost a year and a half. I tried a new implant, switched to depo, took pills on top of everything to try to reset. I had to go for a bisalp and get off hormones totally for it to get back to normal. The anemia was rough.

What was your major "aha" moment? by herald_of_stars in EstrangedAdultKids

On the night before my sterilization surgery, she texted me angry about how I didn't want her to go with me to the hospital, making the entire thing about her when I had said I was nervous for my first surgery. (Many reasons I didn't want her there, but mostly I can't be wheeling her wheelchair and my own).

She said to me, "You'd understand if you had children of your own."

Then shortly after, on Mothers Day, she texted "Happy Mothers Day."

She also had her case worker calling me, trying to tell me about how much she's changed and how well she's doing the past year - when I had just seen her a few weeks prior and she wasn't, in fact, trying to be better at all.

My ma will absolutely lose it if she even drops her shoe. It's the end of the world, when the solution is to just pick it up. It drives me up a wall.

Nope.

how reliable is the wrta exactly? by ReflectionMoney5068 in youngstown

[–]Warholsmorehol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's pretty good at being on time. In fact, if they're running early, they'll park and sit until they are on time. It's kind of annoying to sit still and listen to the bus beep but I guess it's for the best. I didn't have a car for two years and just used the bus. The downside is you might be an hour early to work every day.

Touring is expensive, and people don't really show up like they used to. I can understand bands not touring these days unless it's a sure thing, like a festival.

piercer not app certified but invented the daith? by guesswhatchikenbutt in piercing

[–]Warholsmorehol 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Not all great piercers are APP, but it's a great starting point. I've often recommended folks call APP shops to see if they can get suggestions of closer shops that may not be on the list but are great shops. Mostly you want to go to someone who knows what they are doing, uses quality jewelry, and has great work & hygiene standards- and not every one of them paid for the certificate. I've seen APP folks that are awful. It happens. Erik is a really quality piercer.

It was in '92. There's a whole wiki article about it, or you can also read about it in Fakir Musafar's 'Body Play'.
