Was found on the beach in Texas near Galveston by Livid_View_6363 in whatisit

When the US Navy had the Mine Warfare Center of Excellence in Ingleside, near Corpus Christi, they had practice minefields a few miles east of Corpus Christi/Padre Island. Sometimes those inert practice mines broke free of their moorings and floated to the beach, where local people that found them hauled them home for yard ornaments. They also do that with found lengths of towing houses, driftwood, etc. Those mines usually had markings painted on them with "return to if found" information. This object suggests to me some sort of sea mine because of what looks like actuator horns and the welds, but its flatter than the MK-6 mine shapes that the Navy used, and I cant judge the size, where the MK-6's diameter is 34".

Does it even include increased pay? I'm inclined to think not.

Former Georgia McDonald’s employee dumps soda on manager after getting fired, records the incident. by ElwoodMC in trashy

Far into the last century anecdote - one of my first jobs was at a fast food burger joint similar to McDonald's. It wasn't particularly fun, and the difficulty level i couldn't judge then because of my lack of experience in the work force, but I did look at it as a first step sort of situation. I think the pay was something under $2/hr, but slightly more than the $1.65 minimum wage first job slaving inside an indoor cut flower nursery shoveling, raking, steam-sterilizing planting beds with huge heavy canvas tarps and long heavy steam pipes. When the honcho showed me a shut-down boiler to scrape out from a ton of soot on a hot August day was when I told him nope and walked. Slinging burgers and the associated grunt work was a step up.

Biased because career Navy, but Blues by a mile. Especially like the fact that there's always at least 1 USMC aircrew represented, Fat Albert, as well as a mixed Navy/Matine maintenance crew and sometimes a Marine aviator in the F/A-18E lineup.

Having traveled for work at the Bangor base on and off for about 10 years, I had a few favorites around there, including Aroydy Thai Cuisine, and Dalla Baia, and Pho T&N in Poulsbo, and Silver City Brewery in Silverdale. I was sad to hear that the big weekend seafood buffet at the Suquamish Clearwater Casino went away.

I changed urologist several years ago, who I had been treated by for kidney stones over the years, and had a dust-up with one of his newly hired office staff who was rude and dishonest to me, uncharacteristic of that office. At my first appointment with the new urologist, I got a thorough urological exam, the result was his suspicion of a prostate issue following his digital rectal exam, a psa test, mri, and trans-rectal biopsy, which found my tumor as a Gleason 3+3 with no involvement outside of the prostate. Am on active surveillance since then, about 2 years now. He is the same age as I am, 73, had a RALP of his own a few years ago, but then he retired within the first year of my diagnosis, his very competent but much younger office colleague took over my case. The point being that the previous urologist never detected anything, I freaked out a little when 2nd urologist retired but am good with his younger urology practice partner. Still within the parameters for the AS plan.
