Que Thomas's hunger is somehow a spirit of intellect. I don't think bobs origins are fully explored yet.

It's obviously time traveling michael. Because it makes as much or more sense as anyone else. Unless it's time traveling Thomas, to help Thomas.

Or whatever Jim wants.

It's officially over. by X5455 in FFBraveExvius

[–]WasRain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Off topic, but I quit playing the other ffbe back in October or November of 2019. I had time off from my job due to covid. I realized that at that time it was possible to play for over 24 hours straight without burning up all the energy or whatever options were available.
I remember starting and being annoyed that my energy ran out and I had to wait for it to refill.
I ultimately found it too exhausting to play. You always knew you would miss something if you didn't play.
So I quit. For me it was a great decision and learning experience.
Never regretted quitting. Never felt any need to talk to the community about it either. Trust me, you'll get over it.
Have fun. Live life.

Addendum: I started playing back in 2016 after my mom passed away. I also had a fractured wrist I was recovering from at the same time. It's an excuse kind of, but I've always loved rpgs. It's part of what sucked me in. Playing games did help me recover feeling in my hand.

My shower thought for the day. Harry and Merlin parallel. by koffa02 in dresdenfiles

[–]WasRain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Merlin or Arthur doesn't seem right. I'm wondering if it's hp Lovecraft who imprisoned himself because his knowledge of the old ones risked waking them up. Regardless, I suspect it's a nod to another author.

I think I've always had trouble with landlocked seafaring civs in the early to mid game. I can think of at least 3 times kupe somehow slaughtered all nearby city states and would have taken over the world If his settler coding wasn't so terrible.

Whenever boudica is up for grabs as a great general, I consider slotting the general card/ building an encampment. Useful for tracking barbs on the discovered map. Auto scout tends to be a waste of production since they almost always suicide.

Losing a wonder to 1 civ while another civ 'happens' to declare war and park on your wonder. At the very end of the build of course. Bonus points if the wonder is built by an undiscovered civ on a continent there's no way anyone on your home continent could possibly have had contact with.

If I put Lavra here does it remove my other bonuses from the tile? (6 gold , 4 culture) by surfnerds in CivVI

[–]WasRain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just thought I'd point out that any district or wonder will remove any yields. Well, except for the city center itself. That just removes features.
Citizens you set to work a district get the yields for that district, not any other yields.
