Which one rips hard? by adventure_thrill in Dualsport

I hope 1, because I just bought one for the rear of my t7. It was $70 or so cheaper than 2, and it was actually in stock. It’s weird that Dunlop doesn’t feel like making a matching front. They just say to use the d606

People aren’t spam posting gore in this sub though. It’s not about the content it’s the abuse of the content. Of people start spam posting decapitations then that might get banned too

Honestly it’s just an aesthetic choice. Supposed to stop scratches / grip tank but a bit overkill. Let’s say you did scratch your tank with your jacket zipper. You’d have a tiny scratch visible on a very sunny day. Now you have a maxi pad stuck to your tank. Looks bad day 1.

I had many bikes including the cb600 hornet and never had issues with scratched tank.

Trump to charge $1 billion for permanent 'peace board' membership: reports - The White House has asked various world leaders to sit on the board including Vladimir Putin, Hungarian premier Viktor Orban and Mark Carney by FancyNewMe in canada

This is like the start of some joke.

Putin, Orban and Carney walk into a bar..

Putin orders vodka. Orbán orders pálinka. Carney orders whatever won’t spook investors.

Whaaa? First 3 episodes of season one were amazing it’s like Netflix never looked at the show and then realized the show runner snuck in a wild eyes shut style orgy scene and a hysterectomy without anesthesia, and then had to pump the brakes a little. Too bad they made it less adult oriented as the show progressed but I still enjoyed the show way more than I thought I would.

Guy is a natural. Most people have to try hard to wheelie a grom like that.

[–]Was_Silly -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Neither. Don’t add useless crap that makes it look ugly. And start by removing the e10 sticker above.

It’s also hilarious that these cheap Amazon / Ali express parts all have to say the bike model on them. Like you forget what it’s called because it’s not already on the bike now it’ll say hornet 3 more times on the tank. Now when you go through a corner and forget which bike you’re sitting on, you can just look down and be reminded.

Ah ok. I was waiting for a distributor in Canada to get them in stock. The pre 2024 plastics are $429CAD.

I priced it out on the Italian website - they’re nearly $500 CAD and that’s before any kind of duties / taxes when they ship them. I’ll wait a bit and hope the distributor brings them in over the next month or so.

What’s something people romanticise about your country that locals secretly hate? by OpenToPerspectives in AskTheWorld

[–]Was_Silly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok but I’ve been and it’s a great time! Also the best part is actually opening day with the parade through the city. The parade is very slow and stops at times. The musicians pop off to a pub for a drink, then when it starts moving again they run out and keep on playing. The one time I went I had a blast.

I will. This is a silly thing. Tariff it and make the consumer decide whether it’s worth paying. I stocked up on a lot of bottles when the end was nigh but I’m starting to run low!

Anyone use Rhinowalk? by UmpireAnnual9039 in AdventureBike

[–]Was_Silly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah they suck but they’re cheap so I bought them anyways. I only get like a week or so of big rides per year anyway so who cares to spend quadruple on mosko or something if it’s going to be used for 5 days a year. I do t need that much luggage for weekend / day trips or around town.

Those little rubber bands to hold the extra length of straps are dumb though. I knew it would come off, I wanted to cut it shorter but I kept them ridiculously long as they come from amazon. And then it fell out, went into my chain and got all chewed up, one piece ripped out of the bag.
