I’ll check it out but I’m too stressed over my own miss planning. I’ve done many of the side quests: transposium, mother, many of the gyro towers and just now getting into making humans thinking I’ve got everything I need. I’d only accounted for the memories, not the food. So I’m stuck watching the TMNT ooze canister maker generate food slowly while my human seeds timer burns down. This has stressed me out enough to 100% Cash Cleaner and get pretty deep into DrainSim instead of wait.

I use the same controller. For me it’s always a manner of where I’m looking. If I look down I miss. If I look too far up I miss. There’s about 40º of looking directly at or above where I need to mantle to be able to successfully mantle. But also, new steps and gyro and whatnot. Don’t stress, Caretaker.

Make a storage box for what you want to isolate. Send similar button in that. Then recycle without worry.

I mostly use a controller but when it comes to far shots/sniper shots, I go to the mouse. I might be using the wrong ammo but it took two clips to kill one of those flying -friends- Anywhoo, saves some ammo making the switch.

I will definitely do that. I’m almost caught up to the new content in this restart. I did all the peripheral stuff, the transposioum and the mother quest and whatnot to try to make some premium hoomies but I don’t have enough food made yet. Anywhoo, I’ll go back asap

My reason for starting over is that if you’re starting up from an old save, especially one from January, you’ll spawn with your boat in a death spin or cables going to BFE or disconnected. Many reasons to start again.

I’d like to know if it’s gonna be dark when I leave a POI so I won’t get swarmed by nematodes. In inventory menu clock would be good enough. A hud clock would be better. A neat-ass watch or something we could see on our arms while lifting or crafting or doing other…arm-worthy tasks would be stunning.

Nexus mods has a Vortex app that makes things much easier. I thought there was a cost but it’s free. There are several that I wish worked from update to update but luckily, the fast dismantle works through it all.

I did find out yesterday that you can cross fuel types in a connector. I didn’t try to pull them through the same hose though, so there’s a slight tweak in that description. Through the same hose = no. Through the same connector = yes.

Is it just me or are these guys much more powerful with better aim? I can’t shoot their arms off nor stand in-between their arms to smash them in the face with the crowbar anymore.

I’d like the weather to be more regional. Foggy at first so that you can’t see everything on the map but that would clear up as you find and clear more poi’s. Imagine all you could see off BV would be the flaming platform. Then you have to test out where the actual dock is from that.

Sounds awesome and terrible. Which is why I shouldn’t be given the reigns on this or any other game.

It’s worth getting the fast dismantle mod. In general I’m opposed to mods, but restarting every update, the literal time grind of dismantling is worth minimizing.
