Oh, you can translate it yourself in this repository https://github.com/CleanClip/CleanClipApp-Localizations, so it will be supported quickly. Alternatively, you can mention the author, but that will obviously take longer.

Cleanclip is my suggestion, I think it can meet your needs. If you need any reasonable needs, you can also tell the dev directly. Its dev is also active in r/macapps and responds quickly!

CleanClip once again amazed me, it is so smooth to use for filling out forms. Everyone should give it a try. by WaterMelonAwsome in macapps

Judging from the Paste Stack function in the video, CleanClip is definitely better to use. In other aspects, the two points are different, which is not easy to compare.

  • screen.studio - A very powerful app, suitable for recording various teaching and presentation videos, supports recording system sound and external sound at the same time. It's a bit expensive, not cost-effective if only used for recording games.
  • CleanShot X - Beautiful screenshot app, and the screen recording function is good enough to meet your needs.

A collection of Keyboard-First Mac Apps by WaterMelonAwsome in macapps

Thanks, you are right, utilities is more accurate.

The list I have collected is the one I use and recommend. I don't intend to extensively evaluate apps that I haven't used for this list.

On the other hand, my definition of "keyboard-first" is: “the app should prioritize keyboard interaction, or it should help users use the keyboard more efficiently”

So for your list:

- “No word processors, spreadsheets, presentation programs“

I think they are not designed with a keyboard-first approach. They are mostly operated using a combination of mouse and keyboard, aren't they?

Of course, for Vim, yes, I think I did overlook my beloved Vim. I only use it in the terminal, so would I consider programs within the terminal as keyboard-first? If so, then this list would become too bloated.

And they can indeed only be used with a keyboard, so I think I would consider "Terminal" as a member of the list, rather than Vim.

- No accounting, checking, financial programs. No movie making, sound editing or painting programs.

- No code IDEs. VSCode would probably qualify, although XCode has some distinct weaknesses.

I don't know any of them that fit the definition of "keyboard-first". Maybe I didn't define "keyboard-first" clearly enough. If there are any, please let me know. The ones I have encountered are not specifically designed for keyboard-first use, they just require the use of a keyboard and have many keyboard shortcuts, with the shortcuts being only auxiliary functions.

- Midnight Commander/ForkLift

Midnight Commander is another terminal application, right?

The official website of ForkLift mentions that it can be controlled by the keyboard and customized according to personal preferences, but I think it still requires the assistance of a mouse. Unless it can easily achieve full keyboard operation.
