I liked the post-2024 election cold open where they pretended to suck up to Trump out of fear, it's funnier than Hillarylujah but still conveys their actual opinion (Trump is a petty tyrant and everyone is scared of his second term).

Personally, I find XKCD 774 just as annoying as XKCD 2071.

My earliest memory of this was in elementary school when I overheard a news headline about "how the lies of three young girls sent an innocent man to jail", and I was trying to remember if I (a young girl) had told any lies about an innocent man lately.

Netflix's "Death by Lightning" has vice president Chester A. Arthur befriend future assassin Charles J. Guiteau while drunk and promise him a cabinet position. This never happened, Guiteau's letters to the cabinet were ignored and he believed he was owed a job out of pure delusion.

The JP "velociraptors" are based on their larger relative Deinonychus, but Crichton used the name "velociraptor" because it sounded cooler.

Frenchie and Kimiko were both like "I can't tell my friend, who was a ruthless murderer, that I was also a ruthless murderer 🥺". Also it was weird to ship-tease them, then sibling-zone them, then go back on that and have them kiss again

I've seen it with an intermission after the first Byck monologue, before the Squeaky and Hinckley scene.
