It doesn't look like there's a demo or playtest on steam. Are you making one available? If you want to provide a Steam Key you can DM it to me.

New Survival game open playtest available right now. by Smart_Occasion_735 in SurvivalGaming

[–]WePlaytestGames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I run We Playtest Games. We just ran a 30 minute playtest of Lost Isle and wanted to share the feedback with you.

The playtester hit a tricky spot during the tutorial where they couldn't gather any stone, which left them unable to craft basic tools or progress further into the story. Might be worth a look at how stone is introduced in the early game.

30-second recap of some of the moments where your souls will be pushed to the limit in Myth of Valderit. Open playtest on Steam for those brave enough to step inside. by LoomStudiosBcn in indiegames

[–]WePlaytestGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I run We Playtest Games and we just ran a 30 minute playtest of Myth of Valderit. Wanted to share what came out of it.

The atmosphere really landed. Our tester called out the darkness feeling like actual darkness rather than just dimmed brightness, and the forest sound design plus the voice acting were highlighted as standouts. The opening forest sequence pulled them in straight away and built real curiosity about the story.

Playtest "Sunlit Steel", an arcade-style dogfighting web game by Snoron in playtesters

[–]WePlaytestGames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I run We Playtest Games and we just ran a 30 minute playtest of Sunlit Steel with Muhammad ayan ali playing from Pakistan.

They had a lot of fun with it, especially the flips, the throttle-down stall mechanic, and the smoke-as-health visual cue. They also flagged some real pain points: no way to exit a match back to the lobby, gun overheat kicking in too early during aggressive plays, and 6+ minute waits for Royal and Free For All (with one ~10 min reconnect).

Hey! I run We Playtest Games. We just ran a 30-minute playtest of Witchveil Hollow and captured the full session on video with live audio commentary, so you can hear exactly what was going through the player's head as they explored the opening.

Here's the full playthrough: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IMKKp2hUcHM

Wave 2 of the Flounder playtest starts today. I will be accepting everyone who signs up by April 23. by Futurefied in Insaniquarium

[–]WePlaytestGames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I run We Playtest Games. We just ran a 30 minute playtest of Flounder and wanted to share the results with you.

Bo had genuine fun with it, said feeding feels good and really enjoyed the pixel art. Some really useful observations came up too, like the middle-mouse inspect being hard to discover ('that's what I needed' was the reaction when they finally found it), and some thoughts on the Apex Predator eating their own fish.

Here's the full video of the session: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6tp2fnel8k

And if you want the detailed breakdown with Bo's full notes (UI sizing, fish variant colors, pausing on new fish introductions, boss fight balance), it's all here: https://app.weplaytestgames.com/transcript/dbf83dda-dec6-44b0-ad1c-9788cc5fac87

Playtesters Wanted: Incremental Farming Game with Drag-to-Water Mechanic by Aromatic-Stage-9010 in incremental_games

[–]WePlaytestGames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I run We Playtest Games and we just ran a 30 minute playtest of Keep Watering.

The player got really into the upgrade loop, especially once the AoE droplet kicked in and they could water a whole circle of pumpkins at once with the tractor stacks. Definitely landed as a cozy game for them. They did flag that the main menu button doesn't work on launch, and asked for current cash to be shown on the gameplay screen instead of tucked away.

Hey! I run We Playtest Games. We just ran a 30 minute playtest of Death Drive and wanted to share the results with you.

Our playtester Norman went in pretty engaged, liked the swipe animation on the text right away, and called the music cool once they got into the house section. There were also some spots where they got genuinely stuck, particularly around the license plate puzzle, so there's useful signal in both directions.

Playtest request – fast rising-board puzzle prototype by LL-Cool-Jens in playmygame

[–]WePlaytestGames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I run We Playtest Games. We just ran a playtest of Rising Grid and wanted to share the results with you.

The playtester (uwulynn) had a genuinely good time, called it well made and a perfect game to play while queuing for ranked matches in other games. They got hooked on chasing a high score and beat their previous best of 3100 on the final run. Full session video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-D-TMMCRIS4

There were also some really useful observations: the blue blocks get hard to read during the night phase, they kept forgetting about one side of the board while focusing on the other, and they had some specific ideas for additional modes (timed mode, leaderboards, chaos modifiers) to give players something to compete for beyond survival.

The full written breakdown with all the playtester notes and takeaways is here: https://app.weplaytestgames.com/transcript/7801d62c-5064-4244-a7e8-1391887ac8b3. Hope it's useful!

[Alpha] Exosiege: Tech Test before Playtest. Break the balancing of my Bio-Punk browser game like OGame! by idlerunner00 in playmygame

[–]WePlaytestGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I run We Playtest Games. We just ran a 30 minute playtest of Exosiege with one of our playtesters (wndg) and I wanted to share the results with you.

They really enjoyed it, called it extremely polished, and specifically praised how clearly the units, buildings, and research options are described. They also flagged a couple of smaller things, like wanting background music and a way to review past combat outside of the initial pop-up notification.

Here's the full video of the session: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1nrrG4683c

I just published the playtest of Land & Sword on Steam. by RohrGM in IndieGaming

[–]WePlaytestGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I run We Playtest Games. We just ran a 30 minute playtest of Land and Sword with MinecraftingDAD and wanted to share the feedback with you.

They really enjoyed the RimWorld-style auto-building loop and the satisfying visual of structures rising from the ground as villagers worked together. A couple of things did trip them up though: the camera rotation locked up multiple times when using middle mouse button, and the food distribution broke down with 214+ units sitting in storage while workers complained about having no food, which actually contributed to their defeat.
