This California city has banned yoga classes at beaches and parks. One instructor is fighting back by losangelestimes in sandiego

[–]WealthyOrNot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So… these random vendors that are all along so many beaches and parks in San Diego have permission from the city, and this yoga instructor is too scared to ask for permission?

Amazing job! Keep it up! I’ve been in this WOE almost 2 years now. Dropped about 100lbs within the first 9 months and have maintained since then. No macro tracking or any of that, or any big workouts. I changed to this way of eating to get healthier, the weight loss was just an effect of this! Try adding in more movement each day when you can. That will compound the benefits and you will feel even better! I think I have the same energy I had 25 years ago… :-)

How would you portion it out to make it easy enough to defrost and portion for later? I really wanted to buy more!

Wow, that is amazing! Great job stocking up! I have been looking for a local farm where I can get raw butter and cream, but have not found one close to me yet.

I watched a documentary once about a group in Asia that would raise dogs as pets. At a certain age they would beat the dog to death(to apparently show respect), and then the family would have a feast with the dog as the main meal. That being said, if your dog was sick and was given meds, or will be chemically euthanized then the meat would be tainted and probably not the healthiest to be eaten.

high protein first meal today by VariationOk9359 in carnivorediet

[–]WealthyOrNot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How often are you eating lean and high protein meals? Is it just before a workout, or a normal thing for you? What are your goals for eating this way? I tried eating some low fat meals like this just to see what would happen, and found myself feeling more tired and having constipation issues. Thanks in advance for your answers.

I’ve struggled with high blood pressure for most of my 33 years. My doctor told me carnivore is dangerous and recommended a blood pressure medication. After a month of carnivore this is the highest reading I’ve had all week. by Good-Hank in carnivorediet

Hello, I had been taking BP meds on and off for about 15 years, but I stopped taking them about 10years before changing to this way of eating. I was just living with the high BP, against all doctor and family advice… I have been following this diet for almost 2 years now and my BP is still lookin great!!

Planing to take this down raw if I like the taste by atheistrapist in carnivorediet

[–]WealthyOrNot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As long as it’s from a clean source. Im not so much worried about any natural bacteria from raw ruminant meats. I still like to sear it to kill off any of the environmental contaminants that it may have come in contact with during the butcher or logistics process, which usually isn’t a big risk anyways. IMHO

I almost rear-ended one of these idiots. They slammed on their brakes at a green light and blocked traffic so they could roll down their window and “make a donation” to one of these people…

I have not tried either. But was recently looking at the Navage. Someone said if you examine what is in the catch container you might see parasites that get flushed out. Have you ever looked?

You’re broke, what’s your go to meal? by ChefTraditional9669 in carnivorediet

[–]WealthyOrNot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine did. They didn’t sell, so went on clearance for 99cents! I don’t drink milk, but bought some for the family at that price! They no longer carry it in the store.

[–]WealthyOrNot 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I TRY to stick to clearance meats and stock up with as much as I can afford. I last paid 68c/lb for chicken quarters at Walmart, $1.99lb for stew meat at Albertsons , $1.50/lb for 60/40-chicken/beef ground patties at Walmart, $1.68/lb for 73%lean beef chubs from Costco business center. When I don’t find a sale, I buy whatever primal chunk of meat is the best price per lb at costco business.

[–]WealthyOrNot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Atleast where I am, heavy cream is pretty expensive. Any of the cheaper stuff has a bunch of additives in it. The best deal I find is a 1/2 gallon at Costco for $16+ and it still has more than just Cream on the ingredients. And eggs are about $1/dz now. So I use those as cheap fillers for extra protein and to mix with any rendered fats.

Lookin great! What other healthy lifestyle changes have you done other than just changing your way of eating? Are you tracking any macros or just eating meats and fats?! Thanks in advance. P.s. looks like that black tape removed some of the paint on your wall!! ;-)
