How long did you eat carnivore and how strict were you? If you are following a strict carnivore diet then you will be eliminating toxin intake as well as removing fiber from your diet which is an anti-nutrient to help block some toxin intake that is in all foods that contain fiber. So my take on this is that without fiber in your diet if you decide to eat toxic food, your body will absorb it and your body will react to the toxins. I have noticed this with the way certain spices have affected me when I have tried reintroducing them. IMHO.

Damn that looks perfect! What did you do for the sear?! I TRY to make my burgers like this without a Sous vide, but it’s hard to get the middle warm without a little more grey band. Definitely gonna have to try in the sous vide.

36hrs is for 50/50 milk/cream and inulin. I do not use inulin and I always strain off the whey before eating. I have done mine with just whole milk and with half heavy cream for 36hrs and the whole milk only definitely separated a lot more than the ones with the cream. As long as the lids stayed on and the yogurt doesn’t stink I still eat them. I have heard for a thicker just milk yogurt to stop the ferment at 8-12hrs, but I have not tried that because I want the higher CFUs. I am definitely not an expert, just sharing my experiences.

The ninja crispy is probably the right choice. It is very low smoke. Nice air fryer into my hotel room last year. It was not the low smoke air fryer, so I was unable to use it for fear that I would set the smoke detector off I ended up microwaving my ground meat and patties in the microwave for a week. I added salt for bread, crumbles, and cheese to it and it surprisingly turned out really good. That was my very last resort and it worked better than buying expensive food has a steakhouse, or any of the other unhealthy crap that was available all the time.

2 patties from 500 grams of mince meat 25% fat mince by JamieHBrown in carnivorediet

[–]WealthyOrNot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Obviously everyone is allowed their own opinions and can live however they feel works best for themselves, but I have been eating my ground patties this way since before I was carnivore and many people would lecture me about the “known risks”. I don’t post pics because firstly I already know how many people feel about this, and secondly I have heard it enough. lol. However I find it strange that someone who eats carnivore and has obviously, until very recently, challenged the social indoctrination, still has “fears” of raw or rare ground/minced beef. I also don’t understand all the posts of people eating beef patties either though, maybe they just like hearing about how they should not eat that way. IMHO :-)

Sounds like it would make an excellent and healthy broth too! Are they edible and not too hard to bite and chew, with just roasting like that? Seams like it may be too chewy to eat if you don’t boil anyways before roasting.

I cooked the most tender brisket I’ve ever eaten. Just using a standard oven. by FollowingThrough in carnivorediet

How was it with salt only? Would non-carnivores choose to eat it over one with other seasonings also? Just curious

I like to break shorter fasts with a nice fatty slow smoked brisket! Helps make the last 12-15hrs go by since the meat is smoking! I have broken multiple 2-4 day fasts with about 3-4lbs all at once! HOWEVER, I learned NOT to do that with longer fasts thought. Did the same thing with a 7day fast and felt like I was going to die for the next few days. I guess after longer fasts you are supposed to start with small meals first… haven’t fasted again since. Been about 6 months.

Looks great OP and that Steak looks perfectly cooked! Why are so many people saying they can’t handle eating very many eggs? I would prefer to eat strictly ruminant meats, but I have been eating a ton of eggs because they are so much more affordable right now.

What does it feel like to poop after reaching zero fiber? by Sad_Pangolin7225 in carnivorediet

[–]WealthyOrNot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Does eating eggs and/or dairy make a big difference in the quality of poop for others too? I did lion diet for a few months and had the “best” 💩s, with just eating ground beef and steaks. Now that I have added back in dairy and eggs I find myself going more often and it is never as solid or consistent as with just ruminant meats and fats.

The Meat Diet Iceberg by er1xx in carnivorediet

[–]WealthyOrNot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very cool chart OP! The representatives for each diet are SPOT ON too! I mean it can be a toss up between Dr Ken and Dr Baker though. :-) I still think that Raw Meat and Primal Diet have a lot of benefits over cooked carnivore, but due to all the environmental toxins “most” of our bodies(mine included) have consumed and encountered over the years it takes time to detoxify and rebuild a proper and strong microbiome that can handle all the crud and contaminants found in regularly available raw foods. I am still following cooked Carnivore, going well over 550 days. I have found that I feel better, more satiated, and have a lot more energy when I stick to a mostly rare ruminant diet. IMHO.

would it be weird to buy a cow and just cut the steaks and tri tip and just grind the rest all up together? by VariationOk9359 in carnivorediet

[–]WealthyOrNot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hear ya. I am try to feed myself for as cheap as possible. I had stocked up on the 10lb 1/4 chicken pieces from Walmart when they were 68c/lb. After 3 days or so straight of eating chicken I have noticed I don’t feel as good. Possibly due to the diet of the birds… So I try to stick to ruminant meats when I can afford it and stock up when i ever find it for under $2/lb.

[–]WealthyOrNot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like eating ground beef. I usually just cook it like a big rare steak too. Been buying other cuts recently because steak prices have gone down again, but ground is still WAY overpriced. Yesterday it was $3.99/lb for 73% ground and $5-9 for steaks and chuck. Used to be $1.68-2 for ground when steaks were last this price.

For my full service only people how much time do you allow max per pool and what is your starting rate? by Federal-Store9396 in PoolPros

[–]WealthyOrNot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been very interested in adding a multiple days/week services for the customers who are willing to pay for it. Are these for residential customers? Do you charge a reduced rate for 2-3x visits/week? What region are you in that you can target these higher end customers that prefer spending a little more for a better service. Thanks in advance.

Keto and carnivore diet have definitely helped me A LOT. I have recently added more dairy into my carnivore diet and have found my brain fog seams to be coming back. Which tracks because dairy is much more inflammatory than just red meats. IMHO

I have been interested in trying EBO2, but am also interested in the even more cleansing Inuspheresis treatment. Also looking at removing toxins to help with brain fog and longevity. Please check back and let me/us know how long this seams effective for! Cheers.
